1 patch was released, the European PvE guild Nihilum managed to kill the ruler of the Black Temple - Illidan Stormrage, also known as the Lord of Outlands.
The kill doesn't only mean that Nihilum can add another world first to their already impressive list, but they are now the first guild ever to get all world first kills troughout an entire instance - the Black Temple.
As expected, he dropped the tier 6 chest item token plus some other juicy items, which you can see here:
I caught up with the Blood Elf Paladin Nessaj from Nihilum to ask a few questions about their great success lately.How does it feel killing Illidan, can you describe the fight?
It's a awesome fight, it had a few bugs and all, but they were hotfixed while we were playing, they even hotfixed something when we were out getting new pots. But overall, it's the best fight so far in game, we used to like Essence of Souls most, but Illidan is so much more intense, and it needs great coordination and team work, clearly the hardest encounter they've made yet, so much to do in it. What advice do you have to less hardcore guilds, should they do Black Temple or Mount Hyjal first?
I would say Black Temple for the Experience, and Hyjal if you hate your self =)Worth noting is that there is that Curse, an European horde guild from Vek'nilash, has currently killed as many bosses as Nihilum, although 1 less in Black Temple, but 1 more in Mount Hyjal. They are also the only guild working on Illidan, the closest being Forte who are currently working on the 7th BT boss Mother Shahraz.
