ESWC 07 Rules - de_cbble Included
ESWC have just released the rules for all the different games at the final event which takes place the 5-8 July in Paris.
The most notable thing about the Counter-Strike rules is probably the map de_cbble which has been left out for quite a few tournaments, but has now made its way back into the major leagues.
- I think the map itself is pretty unbalanced and boring to watch games on. If you start out good as CT which is pretty easy, you have the momentum and the opportunity to close the match down there already. For lower ranked teams, I would say this is an advantage for them if they win the coinflip/kniferound and choose CT, says fisker from SK Gaming.
Here are the basics of each game: Counter-Strike 1.6
Tournament Format:
Male: Group Stage 8 x 6 / Group Stage 4 x 4 / 8-teams Single Elimination Bracket in best of three matches.
Female: Group Stage 4 x 6 / Group Stage 2 x 4 / 4-teams Single Elimination Bracket in best of three matches.
Match Format: MR15
Map Pool: de_dust2, de_nuke, de_train, de_cbble, de_inferno
Complete Regulations
WarCraft III
Tournament Format: Group Stage 8 x 7 / Group Stage 4 x 6 / 8-players Single Elimination Bracket.
Match Format: 2 games in stage 1, best of three in stage 2 and final bracket.
Map Pool: Secret Valley, Twisted Meadows, Echo Isles, Turtle Rock, Terenas Sand
Complete Regulations
Quake 4
Mode: Q4MAX latest version.
Tournament Format: Group Stage 8 x 5 / Group Stage 4 x 4 / 8-players Single Elimination Bracket.
Match Format: Best of three games.
Map Pool: Phrantic, Galang*, Monsoon*, Placebo Effect, Torment
Complete Regulations

How you can see who is the better gamer if every year/months/week we gonna have new maps? Show is good, yes we have spectators, yes it's good PR, but we have already good public and we don't need a show, we just need recognition from society.
am i the only one finding this weird ?
suck decision /;
... forget about #28, he's a dumbass
WHY?????
The most important here is the bo3 in the bracket :o)
#31
cpl_mill strike and even overrun will never be used again =DDDD
cpl RIP!
* most playerz don't have tactics on this map (not-pro's)
* and pro's= silent ... rush (most seen)
when you have 4on5 situation you can just play with the team who has 4 players; a push theire + a rush (and fallback) theire + some destraction ... all very cool :D
