The Electronic Sports World Cup Quake 4 finals in Poland has come to an end, and the favorite reached the first place. Indeed it is not a real surprise, Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski who recently won the i30 and also reached the fourth place at the QuakeCon 2006 in Dallas, finished on the first spot of the ESWC qualifiers in Poland with some impressive results since he only lost one map during the whole tournament. Eight players fought at the LAN at Poznan, and among those eight players, two were invited (matr0x and av3k) and six got qualified through internet. The participants were the following: av3k bodzo Cs3 deral DreamCather matr0x rutt sting Cs3 was qualified but due to an accident during football he had to stay at hospital.
