After a series of regional qualifiers in countries all around the world, the Global Final of the World Series of Video Games will finally take place this weekend in New York. The best players and teams will face each other once again in a top tournament in the disciplines Quake 4, Counterstrike 1.6 and of course Warcraft 3. In the Warcraft 3 tournament, eight of the best players in the world will meet for a tournament for the nice amount of $35.000 prize money, a Rolex watch for the winner, and even a brandnew PC for each of the eight participants. Therefore, exciting games are guaranted, for all fans of the horde there will be some entertaining games for sure, as the tournament will be some kind of a revival of the map Maelstrom 2.4, which got removed from most other leagues already. As the event takes place in America, most games will be in the evening or even late night. The first round of Warcraft 3 is supposed to start on Saturday at 20:45 CET. In the Warcraft tournament, SK Gaming will be represented by the two stars SK.Deadman and SK.BeT.Sweet who will hopefully do well against this strong lineup of some of the best players of each race.
