With the recent Championship Gaming Series (CGS) announcement, the American Counter-Strike scene drastically shifted to Counter-Strike Source. Many major gaming organisations added a Source division, due to which the level of competition has also improved a lot. But in the European continent, this situation isn't the same. With the lack of major events like CGS in the European continent, there are hardly any major teams involved in the game. So far, apart from 4Kings, there aren't any other bodies who have a Source division. Changing this trend, WebOne, the top French organisation, has announced their Counter-Strike Source division. Webone will now be the second European team having a Source team after 4Kings. They expect that the Source scene in Europe will soon start gaining importance. Webone is very well known for their CS 1.6 team, who won the French ESWC qualifiers and also managed to get a decent result at the ESWC Finals. Their Source line-up consists of players from different French CS:S clans such as Troll, aTb and Sensoria.
