The World of Warcraft expansion "The Burning Crusade" was released this Monday at 00:00 CET.
The race for level 70 of course began right away, and everyone predicted it would take atleast a few days before someone would reach the new max level. Everyone but Gawell from the French guild Millenium on Archimonde, who already managed to reach level 70 - in 28 hours.
The WoW-community World of Raids has conducted an interview with Gawell about his amazing achievement - Worlds first level 70.
Here's a short snippet:What was your preparation? How did you make it in such a short time?
Cau (the 1st european lvl 60) and I planned the exp route step by step, trying everything to make sure it was the most approriate, the groups organization with the guild Millenium and their members. Each member rotated using a definite order to help me to grind on mobs, mostly with AE, surrounded with several guildmates healers, tanks, pullers etc... You can read the entire interview with Gawell here.
If you got any questions that you want to ask Gawell himself, about the guild, their record or anything, you can contact Gawell on SK-Gaming.

TO ALL INSIDER : YOU RE THE GEEKS HERE GET A LIFE HAJAJAJ
in games like wc3 u dont need to play 164895 hours to get highest lvl and best items... its more like another life coz as lvl 60 raidplayer u have to plan/prepare so much things for raids and stuff.
it simply doesnt challenge me but anyways good job. i wont flame u for playing a game i don´t really like.
#103 He did it professionaly? Well, he should start working for real, would be more useful.
#114 Agree. I've played a bit WoW, and what i found cool in that game is the 'level-uping', the progression in the game. After it's pure bullshit. So cool, that guy is now level 70, and now what, is he a god? Is he really having fun? Well really don't think so.. that's not the purpose of the game..
#115 Yea, go f*** yourself, you twat.
one more thing... #175... u say france is sad country and it has mass ghetto and mass violence... and ur from US?!... for ur information: US has more ghettos, violence and convicts than rest of the world together :P... dumbass yankee XD
a) You have no life.
The irony here has been pointed out countless times, yet idiots on the net still throw this phrase about as though it insults others, not themselves. It makes me want to punch myself in the face so that I will be able to forget the mental pain inflicted upon me by this kind of idiocy.
b) Ignore da hatahs, yo. You rock.
Yeah, good for you, you took the contrary position to look like you're supporting someone for something for an amazing accomplishment.
Now if this was an actual accomplishment b. would be the proper response (if without all the to-do people who say it usually say it with), but 28 x 40 = over 1000 hours. 1000 hours is not that impressive. These numbers are the number of hours to 70 times the number of people involved. Not so impressive any more, is it? In the end, it will hurt his guild, which could have ALL been higher level.
So big deal. If his guild wants the claim to fame so much, good, they have it. But it's cheapened by the human hours put into it.
