Only a few days after fnatic managed to beat the International Squad of SK Gaming in a thrilling WC3L match, they today announced the newest addition to their European-only roster.
Björn "ElakeDuck" Ödman, who left his former team SK Gaming a while ago into inactivity, had a fulminant comeback at the Swedish WCG qualifier, and will now represent his new team and his country at WCG 2006 in Monza, Italy in a few weeks.
Before he went inactive, Duck performed a staight career, starting at winning the WC3L with his team back at 64AMD up to his peak during the WEG 2, which he finished second. SK Gaming wishes its former teammember good luck for his comeback. Read on to find out how happy Björn and his new manager are about his join.
Statement by fnatic.ElakeDuck:
hi, im very happy to join fnatic suddenly my life is not so empty and meaningless anymore.
Statement by fnatic.triMble:
Having Björn back in my team again is a great feeling. After his departure from Team64.AMD and his time in SK-Gaming, we still kept the contact and the special kind of friendship for all the time. I'm happy that he has decided to give his WarCraft III career a new chance, and that he is doing that in fnatic. Welcome back Björn and let's hope that your time in fnatic will be as successful as your time in Team64.AMD.
