What Is Going On Cyberglobe?
For those who do not know, Cyberglobe's former Counter-Strike team packed up and left to sign on with Check-Six as their new USA squad. Cyberglobe was left in disarray until Evan "evaN" Ahlberg stepped up to reform the team. Ahlberg did a good job doing so. This new Cyberglobe team had great players from teams such as JMC and United 5. People then noticed that on the CAL site their website changed to http://www.ipteam.net/, home of Portuguese counter-strike team: imProved (or IP). IP posted Cyberglobe's roster on their site as imProved USA and also posted a news announcing the new team. Threads were then created on various community sites saying that Cyberglobe joined up with imProved, which they did, or did they? Sometime this weekend their site changed back and there was no sign of imProved on their CAL page or IRC. The confusion grew and grew until this reporter then began to ask "What is going on with Cyberglobe?". Many of you readers may have also been asking the same thing, so today SK-Gaming.com was compelled to find out exactly what was going on.

After a chat with Mr. Ahlberg, he released this statement:
When we made ip, tomahawk (manager of excello) said he would help us get sponsors if we used his name which was improved. We stayed there for a while and then we got an offer from another sponsor. We told tomahawk this and he said he didnt want to be apart of the organization unless we used his name, so now we changed back to cyberglobe and are waiting for the final decision of the sponsor. Cyberglobe is a temporary name and we'll be using that name for cal, cevo, and kode5, for now.
Cyberglobes roster consists of the following players:
Evan "evaN" Ahlberg
Derrick "impulsivE" Truong
Joe "Perez" Perez
Charlie "publicenemy" Hartsook
Ben "Ben" Hui
Well hopefully this clears things up a little bit for those who did not know. SK-Gaming.com will also have the latest updates on what happens next with the sponsor. Stay tuned.
