wNv adds European team
The Chinese organisation, WisdomNerveVictory (wNv), has just announced its expansion to Europe by signing Aftermath. This marks a new beginning for wNv as a gaming community as they will now be represented in both the European and Asian gaming scenes. Aftermath was expected to join H2K Gaming on a permanent basis but after ESWC a last minute offer from wNv made them rethink their decision. Finally, after some discussion amongst the team, they decided to take the opportunity which wNv made available to them. Jack “Le_Freak” Benard, the manager of H2k-Gaming made the following statement on Aftermath's decision to join wNv :- "Well this is the first time when a team leaves from H2k-Gaming that even i must say good choice, this was definately such a good offer almost no other team gets in their whole career, so ofcourse the management from H2k-Gaming is sad that they left us, but they were honest from the beginning to the end about everything. Therefore we wish them the very best of luck in their new organisation. If they ever need help they know that they can count on us." On the other hand, Ghopi “executeR” Prabaharan, the team leader of Aftermath, was delighted by their decision and made the following statement:- "It is a great sadness to announce our departure with H2k-Gaming. To make it clear for everyone H2k-Gaming, is really a proffesional organisation with mostly everything you need. They have never fooled us in any way, but only helped us through our journey. It will be sad to leave someone who really had faith in us, and did not hassitate to help with any of our concerns. On our decision to join wNv, we will, from now on, promote our big sponsors and partners, get salary and compete on world class tournaments. This is basically a new step for us, a new development as a player/team, not to mention a better offer than we have ever imagined. All the time we've put to this game finally payed off." As for wNv, this step forward certainly proves that they want to create a reputation as an powerful force in the international gaming scene. Their plans to expand to other games and recruit overseas players in Quake 4 and Warcraft III will be implemented early next year, further reinforcing their determination to be represented globally. wNv Europe now has the following lineup: Bo "WANGZ" Wang (Team manager) Jonas "Luke" Bro (Team Coach) Ghopi "executeR" Prabaharan (Team leader) Thomas "r00fz" Sandvik Martin "OmeN" Moskvil Øyvind "KunFigur3" Magnestad Eirik "draziw" Gulbrandsen We wish both wNv and wNv.eu best of luck in the future!
