x6tence´s official statement:
We from x6tence.AMD state that the male Counter-Strike squad won´t attend the CPL Summer event that will be held in Dallas. Even though the team has a spot for the competition, it has been decided to not attend it because of a reestructuration of the competition schedule and to rest some days for the numerous upcoming competitions that the team will have to attend in the next month. Therefore, the only x6tence.AMD squad attending the CPL Summer Event will be the Quake 4 squad.
At the moment, the male Counter-Strike squad will keep the remaining schedule with no variations:
NX Conecta
GameGune & KODE5 Qualifier
Campust Party & WGT
NGL-One
WCG Qualifier
mibr´s official statement:
We would like a lot to go, specially after a brilliant victory in ESWC 2006, knowing that we are the team to be beaten now. What happens is that the team only got mibr´s major sponsoring in 4th June, after winning the Brazilian ESWC Qualifier. So there wasn´t time to get visa for Lincoln "fnx" Lau.
The team and organizers thought to use Rafael "Pava" Pavanelli as a stand-in, but we decided at that time, that it would be a negative point for the team´s preparation to predict a change, no matter what would be the reason. The team is this one and will only play with its full line-up. Changes only with major reasons. Now that we reached the top, we can´t get loose.
But everyone can expect our participation in all the upcoming tournaments from now on. We are now going to start the visa procedure for the United States, with 5 months of antecedence. The only possibility of no attending is by not qualifying or fnx having his visa negated.

pretty big chance for smaller/unknown teams
so mibr wins 2006 ESWC, they arent the team to be beaten as their path to the finals was easier than fnatic's one...
hmm..now I get why wNv wasnt so hyped before ESWC and stuff, they obviusly werent the team to be beaten!!
simply STFU
btw, the last dominating team out there was SK in 2k3, after that no team has really dominated the scene
1st flashbug - fault of the organisation
2nd flashbug - fault of the organisation
there's a line on the rules that says: ''the maps will be the Draxx ones (w/ fixed the place of flashbugs)
ALL of the flashbugs were not by purpose of any of the mibr
really sad
40% of the gaming comunity didn't aprove the mibr's wining @ eswc :/
