This is a piece of what zr0, Fnatic´s director and founder, had to say:
Sander wasn’t just a great player however, he was a great friend to all. During the tour, where such a great time was had, with many who competed in the tour often finding themselves competing in a second competition on the last night of every stop in a late night poker games, or general fair ground antics in Barcelona in Spain, to touring around Brazil with the players, TSN and the ever close sponsors who were involved in the tour. Sander, was also a personal friend of mine having been one of the original founding players in Fnatic, he has been a member for nearly two years this ESWC, and has been a huge help in placing fnatic where it is today. But not only did he play under the Fnatic tag for so long, he was also a great supporter of the fnatic teams, he would often be seen sitting behind the cs team, or following Warcraft three matches online, he really added to the team spirit of Fnatic.
We wish the best of luck for this great player in his real life. You can check the whole statement here.

Vo0 calls it quits from gaming
Team Fnatic´s Quake 4 player, one of the most successful in the Painkiller era, Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager withdrew from competitive gaming. Today on his 21st birthday, his team Fnatic announced his retirement to dedicate his full time on studies this year where he will be attending university starting in September.
Vo0, who had long experience in CPMA, earned his reputation as Painkillers King throughout the CPL World Tour 2005, where he managed to win 5 out of 9 stops around the world and the ones he didn´t place first he barely stood out of the top 3. In the Grand Finals, even though he lost to fatal1ty, Vo0 was still able to win the "eSports Player of the Year" and "Newcomer of the Year" awards at the eSports Awards 2005.
