WEG to continue, but delayed by a week
The number of delays which the World E-Sports Games have been faced with over the past several days - whether or not their Masters 2006 event will go ahead - have now been slightly ironed out, although an official announcement from the organisation it yet to be released.
The WEG Masters 2006 competition will continue as planned later next week. The tournament will now last roughly two weeks (as apposed to four), and will run from the 21st of April to the 3rd of May.
Most of the players and teams are already in Hangzhou, with the remaining few flying over to China within the new couple of days - for the beginning of the first stage of the tournaments.
The group stages will start on Saturday the 21st of April with wNv playing SK and compLexity playing Virtus.pro in the Counter-Strike tournament. The group stage will be completed by Saturday the 29th of April, with the playoffs thereafter.
We wish the best of luck to the guys over in China!
