The Cheat Report + Raffle
On Friday, 24th February 2006, at 2.00 pm GMT, the time has come at last: the English version of the critically acclaimed new project of rising movie makers Daniel P. Schenk and Alexander Roth, "The Cheat Report", goes online. After the surprising success of their debut feature "A Gamer's Day", which far exceeded expectations with a download count of 700,000, Fallendream Productions are bringing off another coup. The 45-minute-flic sheds light on the shady sides of gaming by dealing with cheaters, their motivations, secret societies and mystic rituals in a humorous way. But while the first film was purely a hobby project, "The Cheat Report" - featuring a five-digit budget, costly techniques and heavy equipment like a helicopter in action - raises the bar for the genre of gaming movies. Special guest appearances by celebrities such as Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager, Miguel “Quick” Bonett and Jan Hegenberg complete the hand-picked cast list, and as a (literally) tasty bit, "A Gamer's Day" fans will notice that the legendary "Gamer's" ever-popular girlfriend, played by Maya Schenk, has also made it into the new film. After completing post-production a few days ago, some first sneak previews proved that an important goal of the new production has been achieved: the prequel's juvenile wit and special charme were successfully carried over to the second film, which hence will likewise appeal to a broad spectrum of gamers. Moreover, the work also does have potential to raise the interest of non-gamers, because its focus lies on real-film sequences rather than in-game scenes, making it suitable even for the big screen.

This only was made possible by funding from several companies, whose support fortunately has also helped significantly to keep the movie's download fee more than reasonable. Payment will be handled conveniently via PayPal or credit card, no waiting time required; the download starts right away without a hassle.
After some experiments with Digital Rights Management, we have decided to refrain from using DRM. We rather trust in the gaming community to make more movies like this possible by paying for what they download. The film thus will be available as a 600MB DivX 5.2 file. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fallendream Team proudly presents - The Cheat Report!
