WaaaghTV is a program that makes it possible for viewers to observe Warcraft 3 games live. Until now, Mac and Linux users have not been able to use WTV, but now, the WTV crew has released a platform independent web client.
The new technology does not only make the software platform independent, it also auto-updates, looks nice, and as long as you have Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne installed, you can just click and watch.
In addition, a brand new feature is added - the viewers are now informed what hero skill a player uses for his level up points. This can be nice information in those cases when you cannot see it easily from the game itself.
The software is still a beta version, and they welcome feedback if users encounter any problems. In order to use the new web client, visit the WaaaghTV website.

That's a good addition.
Even after reading some parts of theirs forums I don't understand why they changed the whole thing.
...not that is it bad for us watchers!
you can play all blizzard games on a mac, plus you can play it on linux using the wine emulator.
I tested the client yesterday and it works nice for me.
When they chose the hero skill it says for exemaple:
WE.IGE.SKY: I have chosen the Stormbold ability on my MK
about winex, if you have a windows emulation setup why not use wtv with winex?
@#13 : okay, I did not know not-web-based software would still be supported
@#16 : playing on UNIX with WineX is like playing on Windows, except you have no support and it will most likely bug at any moment. I wouldn't call this being 'multiplatform'.

Good point -.-
Thank you WTV crew!
(im a happy Mac user)
