BruizES.com has Launched
Today, a new idea in eSports news websites has launched. The website, named after its creator Brent Ruiz, will be "the most updated website in all of eSports", covering all of the major competitive gaming scenes and then some. The list: Counter-Strike/CS: Source Warcraft 3 Quake 4 Starcraft World of Warcraft The website also has a section devoted to other titles such as the Day of Defeat, Call of Duty, Halo, Wolfenstein, Battlefield, and FIFA series. BruizES.com (taglined "so much information, it hurts", and titled Brent Ruiz's Esports), is unique in that it is really the very first eSports news "hub" - and the kicker is that the website is made up of only one single page, in a "newspaper-style", as the press release describes it. All the content that's on the main page on any given day is all from the current day, and at 09:00 CET, it's snapshotted and put into the archive, to make way for the next day of updates. Furthermore, RSS is not used.

The website also produces daily original articles, and has launched with a feature story about a female CS player.
A big part of the website is the fact that it is the first real news website that brings together the entire community of eSports websites, a "partnership ring" if you will. BruizES launched with several big-name partners (including both news-only sites as well as team sites), SK-Gaming.com being one of them. The goal of the site is to incorporate as many of the community websites as possible in the near future.
Below you can find the official press release:
(Los Angeles, CA) - A longtime eSports jounalist has launched a website giving eSport fans, and any other interested viewer, access to a unique resource which offers the first true online eSports news "hub". The website, called 'Brent Ruiz's Esports', is named after its creator, and can be found at http://www.bruizes.com. With its correlated tagline, "so much information, it hurts", the website provides a newspaper-styled bull's-eye for all of the day's news.
"It will be the most updated website in all of eSports," said Ruiz. "The strength of this website," he continues, "is that it was built with the goal of partnering with all of the other eSports news and coverage websites, therefore being an invaulable resource for the entire community."
Although the website launches with several popular eSports news websites already partnered, BruizES also has teamed up with many team sites, more than just a few being the biggest names in the scene.
"The purpose of partnering with as much of the community as possible is to provide a resource where any user can visit BruizES, browse through the headlines, and know that they are getting the latest news, from more than just one source, updated all day."
BruizES.com launched with a broad initial scope. The website's sections cover Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Quake 4, the Call of Duty, Day of Defeat, Halo, Wolfenstein, FIFA and Battlefield series, as well as World of Warcraft.
Ruiz explained that the website works by simply providing links to other websites, updating constantly twenty-four hours a day. At midnight Pacific Standard Time each day, the website's updates from the previous day are wiped clean, moved to the archive, and the next day's updates begin. The work is also done by a small staff, in order to provide the best quality links and the best possible variation in content, all to create an amazing resource for eSport news. In addition to this, daily original articles will also be a large part of the website.
The website, being descriped as "revolutionary" by some lucky test-users able to have gotten a sneak peek at the project, is not only unique in content but also unique in format and design. "For the most part, it's a one-page website, kind of like a page you would find in a newspaper," said one of the lucky individuals. "It loads fast, and you get all of the information you need at the front page. It's like the 'Google News' or 'Drudge Report' of eSports."

if it is a xml-parser, they even not have to work for this.. Its just working itself :)
if not it would be too much work and strupid, that could be done by an easy php script itself :) (I have made such a script myself, I made it in 2houre work and it looks up all sites i want, gives me News 24/7 and lot more function, than this site :) )
