Blizzard WorldWide Invite Is Coming!
After a very successful Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational in 2005, Blizzard will be bringing back a multi-Blizzard game tournament for 2006. Players from all over the world travelled to Anaheim, California in the USA last year for Blizzcon to compete in Warcraft III, Starcraft, Diablo II, and World Of Warcraft. However, this year there will be some changes. The location for the Blizzard WorldWide Invitational 2006 will be in Seoul, South Korea. To many this is the heart of pro-gaming, where Starcraft became an unofficial national sport of the Koreans. On February 3rd to the 5th, players will be playing for top prizes, but it will not be the same format as last year. Starcraft will remain an invitational, however, the Warcraft III tournament will be the season three finals! The finalists from the season-end qualifiers will be partying in Seoul Korea, home of many of the greatest players in gaming. It is also expected that Diablo and World Of Warcraft will return as well. More updates to come as Blizzard slowly reveals more information on their "surprise" tournament.
