As they stated they do so because of alot of upcoming Q4 tournaments but also mainly because they want to keep up with all their practices and due to Christmas it could be hard with only four players.
The player that is joining the ranks of Team9 is nobody else than ex Team UGH player - Fredrik "rvn" Rosell, he used to play Quake 3 together with civ and fox in UGH. Here is what Anders "civ" Larsson sayed about Team9 announcement:
"I am glad to have rvn to our squad, his a great TDM player as the others in Team9. He also aims to be the best and to have a lot of fun during the time beeing in team9."
Of course, rvn himself also wanted to say something about his recruitment into Team9.Q4 squad:
"Ever since Quake4 came out I have trained hard with the aim to become the best. Joining team9 will be a big step towards that. Playing with top players such as civ, zeb, mick or nace is a honor for me and knowing civ from the past I am sure that with the professional management and dedication we will be able to become the best."
Team9.Q4 squad is taking part in ClanBase EuroCup XII Quake 4 tournament, they are currently placed fourth in Group C after defeating Danish Lockdown and losing to Team GUNK. I would like to wish best of luck to rvn in his Quake 4 career!
