The EuroCup tournaments which are run by the ClanBase organisation have always been prestigious and full of very highly skilled teams and players in every game type.
But this time round it seems things have been knocked up a notch or two; with the total prize money for the Counter-Strike tournament alone being $35,000 it's not hard to guess why so many top teams and players will be participating.
With only a couple of days left until the registration for the EuroCup tournaments is closed, ClanBase have given us a taster of some of the confirmed players and teams.
In the Counter-Strike field, amongst the more than four hundred singed-up teams are; Mousesports - the reigning champions from last season, Virtus.pro - last seasons runner ups, Team Pentagram - who won the EuroCup X, and of course our very own SK Sweden team. These are only a 'few' of the confirmed teams though; there are definitely a lot more talented teams who will be participating in the tournament. With the high prize money in this tournament, every team is going to be fighting hard to do as well as possible; we wish everyone the best of luck!
The Quake 4 TDM competition also seems to be full of several top teams, including the highly skilled old school team of iCE cLIMBERS, along with Demonic Core, EYEBALLERS and Against All Authority. The Quake 4 1on1 tournament is also looking good - with players like Zaccubus, civ, winz, fox and PURRI, it will certainly be an entertaining affair.
Moving on to the 2on2 WarCraft 3 tournament now, there will be pairs of players from mTw, SK Gaming 06 and plan-b - amongst others. This tournament will definitely be good!
With the tournament sign-ups finishing on Tuesday and Wednesday, you will have to hurry if you still want a chance to participate in the events. We wish every player and team the best of luck in the EuroCup XII tournaments!

Good luck all! ;p
afk
And of course: Have fun!
CB just has the shitiest admins in the world. If a higher ranked clan loses to someone and they "conflict" then it's a 90% chance they will win the match by that conflict, even if the lower ranked clan did win the match fair and square. It's a fucking cb policy to keep the "better" clans in cb cups and ladders.
For a start how do you think CB would get away with doing something like that, considering most games are going to be watched by ~500+ people?
Secondly the Eurocup isn't a ladder so that part of your argument is worthless and thirdly show me ONE instance where CB have done as you have said in a _MAJOR_ CB cup?
but #18 is apparently talking about ladders, not Eurocup
#18
what do you expect from people who do something for free?
#18 You're so clueless, most matchconflicts and surely the more prominent ones are decided by a whole team of admins/subs. Not one person. And like #20 said, give me one example :p I bet you can't.
I really doubt that has happend.. Feel free to show me an example in which that happend.
Usually the other clan just violated a rule (e.g. no SteamIDs) and blames the admin of being biased when the conflict is decided against their favour.
Cs 1.6 some low rank clan played whit Team Estonia PunisheR, PunisheR was banned for owning the crap out of the other team. The "proof demo" and .avi what was made from that match were just too funny, i dident belive someone will get banned for just being a good player.
Not the best examples but there are more of these kind of conflicts...it's just my opinion that cb is a "not so good" organisation.
