Well I'm sitting here on the 27th of May in Sundsvall Sweden, 5 days after arriving in this lovely country.After a day of airport hopping I arrived into Vasteras airport to meet some friends.A quick stop at Max :) and I was ready for what Sweden was to throw at me...
I got to my friends appartment and opened my suitcase...UH OHHHH my pc is in bits!!!Bloody english baggage handlers! Mother board and graphics card broken!So off we went to PC City to pick up a new graphics card.A quick switch-a-roo later into a spare pc and I was back in action!
The weather here has been like home,kinda wet,dreary and cloudy..not much use for my sunscreen xD.On wednesday I went to a small village called Hedaker near Sala, really peaceful area, nice to get out of the suburbs of Vasteras.After a quick trip into Sala to get some Krang supplies I visited Sala silver mine..pretty nice scenary there too :)I've picked up some handy phrases from my friends like "Jag ar en javla tourist ursakta min daliga svenska" (I'm a fucking tourist excuse my poor swedish).Anyway on thursday 25th we got up at 4am yes i found out theres a 4am! An hours drive to Uppsala was next in store to catch the bus to krangparty..
The journey was hmmm...boring...but I got to see the nice parts of Sweden aswell as listen to some stockholm guys singing gay 80's music over and over for 4 hours. We arrived into Sundsvall around 11:40 and got checked in.After the set up I took a walk round and tried to take it all in...1500 people in one sports hall..for 3 days of pure gaming orgy..magical! The first day was cool after I found out that cs pro's were here. It's weird seeing that guys you watch on HLTV or view pics of them on various gaming sites standing 5 feet away from you. The SK guys are about 30 feet from where I'm sitting and I've been following their matches on hltv and then went and stood behind Ahl and Goodfella for the Cisco 9 game.It really is exciting listening to the guys shouting tactics over and back (Not that I understood a fucking word of what they were saying..bloody swedish language and all that) Anyway things went well for them and they took down c9 in a well rehursed way.
