As a result, we pick Chen, a raw talent player from our 2nd team to fulfill the lines-up. ( He's my cousin :D )

Getting salary from playing CS 1.6

1st.VN 1st lines-ups are going to receive salary for the full-year 2010We are the first and the only CS team in Vietnam history who get money salary for playing CS. There was a problem that made me think we are not going to receive any salary. But finally, all problems are sold and we will receive the 12 months salary of 2010 in the end of November. So I just treat it like I put all the salary in bank for saving and withdraw it in the end of the year hahaha. We cannot disclose how much we get but I can tell you our salary is MUCH more than Vietnam GDP (1200USD/person/year)

After 10 years playing CS from beta to 1.6 (not CSS lolz) this is the 1st year I have salary !! CHEER. And I know many better teams out there in the world don't get anything except gears, T-shirts etc. . . Hope that CS scene will get better and better

p/s: in a developing country like us, you can do a lot of things with 1200usd :D. for example a very good meal costs 2USD in Saigon, the biggest city of Vietnam



Beijing MSI-Beat It blog

1st.VN beat it-----------11'20 PM 2-9-2010------------

I am packing my luggage for the trip. From the schedule of Fnatic website it seems to be 2 groups with 6 teams per one.

The good news is we, the underdog, have the good feeling about this tournament and be ready getting experience as well as doing some damages to others team

The bad news is we will miss the MSI Beat It welcome dinner due to the late fight. 2nd september is Vietnam independence day so it's hard to book the flight !

I'm going to sleep in 20 minutes. 1st.VN team will take a flight at 11'30AM tomorrow and will attend Bejing around 8'30PM after 2 hours transit in HongKong !!!

After 10+ hours flight + transit, we arrive Beijing at last. The weather is great ! the good news is the hotel room is great, and MSI staff is really friendly ! But besides them, we can't fly anyone else speaks english and help us.

Can you believe that we just wander around the street around the hotel and we are kind of lost. With the Hotel's namecard on the hand but noone in the street is willing to help us lolz :D

We are the the group B with Fnatic, Tyloo, Espirit, Nearlygod, UMX. Matches will start at 4'15PM Beijing time !!!

Good day versus fnatic Girls

Fnatic Girls come to Vietnam doing PR stuff for MSIFnatic.ZaaZ and Fnatic.Ispa come to visit Vietnam Computer Expo 2010. In MSI booth, they play 1vs1 aim_map. who get to 10 rounds is the winner. The guest who wins will get a MSI netbook U160 :D

I was lucky being chosen to come to play against ISPA. And I won :D . It is a really nice netbook.

But the more important thing is I have a chance to meet Fnatic.girls in real life hahaha, even play with them haha . to be honest, they are really cute, especially zAAz, she's so lovely !!!

Big thank to MSI and Fnatic.girl for doing amazing stuff like that in VietNam !!!

p/s: I hope to meet cArn and Getright but they went to Thailand, not Vietnam :D

1st.VN gaming presents new team !

Farewell Rockland ! Thank you FMM ! Welcome back Kenshin ! Welcome minirobo !After a very long time playing with the consitent lines up (robo, Locke, grr, rockland + 1more), we now have a new team for up-coming events

First, the sad news, let me say the big farewell to rockland. He's now not interested in high-level competetive CS anymore. He started playing in 2006, proved himself being one of the best players in Vietnam and being an important player from 2006-2009. Although he's born in 1982 ( He was 24 when he first played CS ), he showed us how a talent man can get into CS without so much time of training. For me it was a very amazing time playing together with him, I will never forget all the great time we had, such as Asian cyber Games in Malaysia, WCG 2008 world final. But there's a good news, He now will play in our 2nd team in order to share his experience to the young players. And we will still have fun together in training and real life as before.

Second, another sad news, from now on FMMM is not an member of this team. He stepped in the team after the kode5 Asian final to be the in-game caller. But after a few months we noticed that all the things were just not as right as we wanted it to be. Thanks FMM so much for what he did to the team as a member also a tactic caller. FMM now will play in the 2nd team with rockland to guide the young players

Third, welcome back Kenshin to the team, He was out of the team after the Kode5 Asian Final because of his playing-style didn't fit the team at that time. But recently he's shown us that his playing is now more teamwork, and that meets our team's requirement. I'm glad that he understands that CS is about the team, not about just one player ! Welcome back dude !

Last, The new gun is loaded. The most talented young player ever in Vietnam CS scene. We're so happy to have this guy in our lines-up. Minirobo, he's now only 15, and he's been playing CS for over 7 years. His skills is Godlike, he can destroy everything within a second. The only problem that made him apart from our team is he was too young to go and play around away from home. But now he's old enough to have passport and ID to go every where with us. Being a core-player of our 2nd team for a very long time in local events, Now say goodbye to the 2nd team, He steps in the 1st team and ready to blow all that stand in his way. Beware of robo and minirobo :D !!!

I myself think that we now have the strongest lines-up ever ! Let's see what we can do :D
