MYM.Neo: "If I were a girl I would be lesbian"

Well, as you all know, MYM.Neo is a monster! He's a monster, indeed and if I can say, he's a great gamer just like SlayerS`BoxeR` in SC scene. I really love the way he picked his opponent down, the way he played his awesome performance on the stage!
Hi guys!

Maybe I'm the fresh meat in here since I'm playing around MYM but Sk-Gaming ^^. Well, I've been told about Sk-Gaming for thousand times so I decided to create an account in here. I used to be Sk-Gaming's visitor but now, I'm Sk-Gaming's member ^^.

This is my old interview with MYM.Neo posted on MYM some weeks ago. I don't know if you guys have read it. So well, I want to post it here so enjoy ^^.

Well, as you all know, MYM.Neo is a monster! He's a monster, indeed and if I can say, he's a great gamer just like SlayerS`BoxeR` in SC scene. I really love the way he picked his opponent down, the way he played his awesome performance on the stage!

Before having a chance talking with him, I used to think that he was such an arrogant player, a super star and he must be quite unfriendly. But no, he surprised me, in good way.

So if you're curious and want to know something more about himself, let take a cup of coffee and do not leave your desk because tonight, the earth will tremble! Be hold, our great Neo!

(This interview was made for eSport.vn - I'm working for ESVN in Vietnam)

1) First of all, thank you so much for joining us today and would you mind introducing some more about you for Vietnamese CS Fans?
Hello there. My name is Filip, I’m 21 years old and except playing CS 1.6 for Meet Your Makers I’m a regular guy, studying and doing some other, regular things in some free time.

2) You’ve just defended successfully your throne in EWSC. How did you feel when you knew that you made it?[
It wasn’t such great feeling like a year ago, because we have been waiting for such thing for some time. So it was more like ‘finally we made it’. Of course it was really, really great for us.

3) MYM started the year 2007 slowly but right after playing in this ESWC, it totally changed! You guys even defeated emuLate and mouz with an unbelievable score like 16 – 0 and 16 – 1. Could you tell us why MYM could reach that shape? You know, in eSports competitions, you’d better get into your best shape before taking part in any events.
To be honest it is hard to answer. CS just seems to be pretty random on such level, and it seems that your shape depends a lot on other things than just game itself. A lot depends on your mind and self-confidence I think. Before ESWC we just played really A LOT, had like 100 hours on steam within 11 days and we were really self-confident, and of course very motivated, because we really needed to win something finally.

4) What do you think about eSTRO team? Their pros and cons?
I can’t tell you much about them, except that they are very good team, together as a team, and individually they have very skilled players. Seems like they have perfectly prepared everything, before events. Lots of teams should be learning from them their discipline (at least us for sure).

5) According to you, which player was the best player of eSTRO during his final match against MYM?
It’s really hard to say, when I’m playing I don’t focus on players, who is killing or who is not. I’m just focusing on tactics, and of course headshots! I just remember few kills which made me mad from termi or bail.

6) By the way, during the whole ESWC, which player do you like the best? I mean during this ESWC, you must have faced with many good players besides those eSTRO gamers, and many people want to know that who made the most difficulties for you?
As I said I don’t look that much on players during the game.. So I can’t tell you that. Maybe I could say it was iorek or msx from emulate, I just remember them killing us the most.

7) Your score for MYM’s performance and yours in this ESWC? (10 is the highest score)
From 8 to 9, because even that we have won, we still lost everything we could have lose. And as always, I would score myself close to 5 because as always I think it could have been better.

8) Having been back from San Joe, how’s your training schedule?
Right now we have been playing a lot again before Extreme Masters in Dubai and WEG Masters in China (I think that’s the name), and of course WCG finals in Germany. We got really tight schedule, and we have to be in our best shape before these events. We placed 4th in Los Angeles, and we just don’t want to repeat that.

9) So is that all, I mean your “headshot” (aim)?
As I mentioned before, lots of headshots! ;-)

In addition, there are some questions from Vietnamese CS fans for you. Some questions are quite the same with others so I chose some best questions out of here for you to answer. I hope you enjoy them.

• As I know, you and your teammates had a long time playing for PGS and PGS is a Polish Gaming. Why did you leave them for heading to MYM? In particular, you are Polish and would it be easier for you to train if you stayed in PGS, a Polish team? - Lara[1g]
It doesn’t matter for our trainings if we are playing for MYM or PGS. We had some problems with our organization, we just wanted to attend every event there was, and MYM just gave us really good offer, we just couldn’t refuse.

• I want to know about your daily training schedule and activities. The daily life of pro-gamers’ is so much fun to know for some audiences so that I really appreciate if you give me more information about this. - Dinhtd
It depends what day that is. Every second weekend I have school, so on weekends it’s usually just school then CS and then I might go out to some partying if we are not practicing (before events we also practice on weekends).

If not.. then I just wake up after sleeping about 8 hours (when I go to sleep at like 2am then I just wake up at 10, or at least try to), after I wake up I go jogging, or if it’s a gym day I’m not. Then I just chill some, play or just do regular things. Again if it’s a gym day then I go to gym, and at 5-6 pm we start practicing. After our training or I stay playing some more, or I just go reading a book, watching a movie or going out. And that’s it.

• eSTRO played dramatically and persuasively in a few recent tournaments. Actually, they were so close to the trophy in the last ESWC Grand Final. What are your opinions about these Korean gamers? How were the final matches against them? Finally, what is your opinion about Asian teams now? – Kjzin
To be honest I just know few Asian teams (the ones that have attended e-Stars in Seoul). So I can’t tell much about them, except that they are really good with their tactics and of course skill. ESTRO played really great, and I was really surprised during nuke, how fast they could be!!!! :D

• When you determined to keep going on the professional gaming scene, what did your parents and your friends think? Did they oppose to your decision? Until now, have you ever thought of your future life once you leave the stage? -PHT|SPIDER
I’ve never been thinking about the future. I was just enjoying the game, and not thinking how it’s going to be in few years or something like that. When I started playing, the level in Poland wasn’t that high, so in Poland as far as I remember my team was on top. For like 2-3 years (from year 2000 I think) my team was top2 in Poland, then we became top1 and finally we created Pentagram team (from two top teams, the other one was Luq’s and TaZ’s team), later PGS.

My family was pretty different, when I started playing it was together with my father. After some time he just became our manager, found us sponsors such as Pentagram, or Steelpad back then. Right now he is running biggest league with LAN finals in Poland. We owned a internet café for few years, so my sister has been playing together, same as my mother for some time. So my family was really supporting me, like no other.

• Could you pick out 5 best CS players on earth at present? - proA.nauL
It’s really hard, every player has different skills, and for example top fragging guys are not always ‘the best’. I can just name few my favorite ones – f0rest, Loord, mSx, cogu, RobbaN.

• Maybe it’s a personal question but I still want to know that if you were a woman, which one in your team would be your ideal husband? - proA.June91
HAHAHAH. If I were a girl I would be lesbian so none of them?????

• You have already gotten some important championships such as WCG, ESWC while you performed poorly in “smaller” tournaments before. Can you explain the reason why? - Ryurin
No idea, maybe we just focus more on such big events. To be honest I can’t tell you why. Maybe just a coincidence.

lol, I cannot post my whole interview in here due to its length so if you're interested, please visit: http://www.mymym.com/item/1343.html

Here I come - About leavin' for Singapore

Oh well, tonight, I cannot sleep. There are some few hours left to say hello to the sun. Tomorrow, I will fly to Singapore – my first trip abroad.

Ok, I have to admit that I’m pretty overexcited while I keep acting cool in appearance. No way! this is my first trip abroad and I will fly to the most beautiful city in South East Asia. How could I resist to it? hmmm….Just…Just NO WAY!

I’ve finished my uni entrance exams since July 10th and this is my parents’ gift for my “not really” hard working in 12 years at school. However, my results are not as good as I expected. I will not blame it on anybody because that was all my fault. My parents have already known because I told them right after I saw the results on internet. They are sad, I know. But they will still let me fly to Singapore tomorrow as I am sure. Do you know why? Beacause they are my parents.

As I mentioned above, tonight, I cannot slep. Thus, I spent my night time reading books. It’s the book names “Seras-Tu La?” by Guillaume Musso. I broght 2 books of this author last week. Basically, I like his writing style so I could not stop myself to sleep but keep reading it until there was no page left. Guillaume Musso….hm….I should have read his books earlier….But I think, it’s never too late to take my time.

It’s 5.17 am now. I started to compose this entry 3 hours ago. Unfortunately, it looked like that my dad knew that I had already awaken, he continuously made noise which implied that he didn’t sleep yet. I tried to pretend that I was sleeping in vain, I decided to left the PC behind. 3 hours passed by and there was another sleepless night for me. I’ts 5.20 am and I don’t feel tired at all.

The flight will be taken off at 10.00 am. And I don’t have any other book by Musso. What a pity that I cannot use my time left to join his miraculous journey. Aww…..How can I get through all of this – my excitement? One thing which I’m sure is that I will meet “my small love” very soon in my final destination. Perhaps, I should make use of my imagination about him when we first meet otherwise I’ll get crazy before reaching Singapore.

“Hey boy!”
“Yes?”
“I like you :) “
“:)”
“Does it matter?”
“is okay :) “

True love?

(the picture was taken by NeverGG. Thank you for this amazing shot)

I’ve been busy like hell these days, that means there’s hardly time for StarCraft in particular.

Today, after having my work finished for game.vzone.vn, I started to surf Teamliquid.net – one of the most powerful StarCraft fansite among the community. I found some new pictures about my favourite progamer – Bisu[Shield]. I found many topics that I had never ever read before. And…suddenly, I felt so lost and empty.

I have been “temporarily quitting” following Korean professional StarCraft scenes. Now, if you asked me about the current process of Starleague or Proleague, I’d feel to be killed immediately.

Being lost in my emotions, I wonder if my love for StarCraft has finally come to an end. Honestly, I think that at the moment I’m paying all of my attention to CS. My friends are mostly Counter Strike players and I chat with them on MSN everyday. We share our thoughts, our stories and it brings me some good memories back. It reminds me of my childhood when my soul was completely “stolen” by something in Counter Strike matches with my friends, my classmates.

Aww….tell me what happened to me, won’t you? I’m stuck!!!

p.s: My blog avatar for today is Bisu[Shield]. He's really handsome, isn't he?
