I need help! Any PC experts, READ!

Hellooooo....I need help.
I got a computer , and its a beast the only problem is that i can't use it...
The computer is this intel quad core thing, and it's supposed to be overclocked and its just a bad ass computer....
as you can probably tell i'm not the brightest with computers
my brother built this computer for me and installed windows 7 on it and gave it to me ... we all figured it was going to be no problems ...he recently went out of town and will not be back for a while so i have nobody to fix the problem i'm having ...

the computer is SUPER fast, it restarts in literally 1 second, so i know its probably amazing ...WOW runs perfectly but when i open cs , it runs perfect for a while and then it freezes for like 1 second , and it happens every 10-15 seconds ....
its not "lag" because i dont get flush entity packs or w/e and my ping is fine....i have 100 fps - i thought it might be video card drivers but i have installed, re installed 10 or more different vid drivers and i even took this one out and put a ATI in to see if that fixes it but i still have the "lag"

Then, i figured it was windows 7 ...so i reformatted with XP and crossed my fingers
BUT AGAIN.....it "lags" or freezes....
so now i'm pooped and frustrated
i have no idea what to do ... i'm all out of options and i'm about to throw this shit out the window
someobyd help me please!



Steph and I are stuck...

So....This is how my morning went to make it simple, i will make a itme line

1.wake up early to take my friend to airport
2. come home, finish packing and i get ready for airport
3. get a txt msg from alice saying a volcano exploded(WTF???)
4. i go to airport and wait in line for 2 hours, and they tell me everything is fine
5. i exchange my $ , sit down and they tell me flight is canceled
6. there is a riot at the airport becuase there are a bunch of pissed off indians wanting to get the fuck out of the airport , and a strike going on with airport employee's
7. i get dry humped from all angles , becuase there were so many people crowding around me
8. i see the flight attendants and etc. huddled in the corner discussing what they are going to do with all ofus
9. i wait
10. i wait some more
11. i ask some lady whats going on, she says to wait
12. i wait
13. a lady gets on the counter and says all international fly air space have been shut down and to go home and to call lufthansa for further notice
14. i come home
15. alice tells me that only frankfurt and UK airports are closed
16. i'm on hold with airlines for 2 hours
17. i'm slitting my wrists
18. i'm writing this blog becuase now i can't go to the tournament that my whole team is at
19. steph and i are crying in vent and hugging our monitors

yay....fuck my ass



So...mexico owned me

So...i'm at work so i must type fast and sneaky so i dont get caught ! This blog will take me all day becuase i will run around the office patient to patient, then to my computer then type...then restroom, then on and on and on.
Mexico owned me. It straight up freaken no lube owned me. I have been shitting fire for the past few days and my butt hole HURTS.
FUCK! I mentioned this to my mates the other night in practice, and I guess I was the only one that got owned
GG SIR?
FML.
Okay anyways, moving on ...tournament was great I wish we got 4th, we definitely could've gotten 4th. Flamers will be flamers and lovers will be lovers.
Those of you who watched, you know how well we did. We played awesome. Of course there were some rounds that we should've won but we did not...woulda coulda shoulda right?
Okay I have to go now...i'll write more later

Live Octopus?!

Soo...the last time I went to korea was when I was 9 yrs old. Korean people eat a lot of weird things and we love things fresh....alive if possible....HAHA I know it sounds freaky but, a lot of the older korean generation find that if they're eating something half alive, it's more appetizing.

Now, don't flame or hate on korean people, it's more of a culture thing and I really don't find it "wrong" maybe becuase i'm not a tree hugging green peace blah blah person.

Anyways to get to the point...I went to korea, and went to a City called Pusan and ate LIVE OCTOPUS! I remember the lady slicing this tiny octopus into like 2 inch slivers, and the tentacles and suction things were all still moving and sucking onto my chopsticks...and When I put it in my mouth it stuck to my tongue, teeth and roof of my mouth so I had to chew it really fast and swallow because it was wiggling around so much! Sounds yummy right? Well it actually isn't that bad ...interesting more like *_*

My family and I have a dinner once a week which includes my brother, mom, uncle, aunt and two younger cousins (who are so into WoW right now, i'm scared for them...and my youngest cousin said "I don't want to go to school, i wanna be a pro gamer just like you nunna! " ) but that's another story for another time ...omg I ramble so much ...okay so to get back on track , the LIVE OCTOPUS from korea are being imported here to dallas and sold LIVE!!!!!! So of course my mom and co are all excited to eat it this week becuase they are flown in fresh on thursdays ....

But when we have a family gathering its almost mandatory that my brother and I get drunk with my uncle...It's like a culture thing, alcohol is a very normal thing for korean people and we have a lot of rules and stuff that we follow when driinking with elders, but if they pour you a shot of soju or sake or whatever ...you can't turn it down...now , possibly the biggest match of the season was on thursday vs. exigent on de_train so I knew I couldn't go out with the family or else i'd be piss drunk playing my match ...and we all know that I carry Sk Ladies to victory so we can't have that now can we?!?! So what do I do?

I call my mom and explain to her that I have a big match tonight, and that I have to stay home and practice and stay focused....She of course offers to bring me food and give me a massage and wishes me luck and says "Okay, we'll have dinner on sunday then.."

Aren't I so lucky to have the coolest mom in the world who drives 30 minutes out of her way to bring me delicious food to pump me up for my match?!?!

Okay, so yeah...we're doing decent in ESEA-M at the moment...we have 3 more matches before playoffs begin and that's where its really going to get dirty...

But whatever happens from here on out,whether we win out the season and win esea-m or lose I think we've already learned so much and have so much more to learn and really on our way... I am already so happy and grateful to have the teamates that I do who work so hard not only in CS but outside of cs too in everyday life...we have Jso here who rides 10 miles a day to work on her bike and rushes home to practice with us and sacrifices all her boo's to play counterforces...we have alice lew who pisses off gravitas gaming (she lives with two of them, one of them being her boo) becuase she gets louder than them in our matches/practices and she goes to work and comes home immediately and can't even eat because we wont let her becuase we have to practice....

To missharvey who is in a huge turning point in her life in her career (which i'm SO PROUD OF) working for such a exceptional company as ubisoft and coming home and not sleeping for 72 hrs in order to play counterforces - I mean, we do have DOCKERS in our partner lineup supplying us with their great cranberry energy drinks, but still, 3 days without sleeping is a pretty good achievement.... and cath is just foreign -.-

These girls are just absolutely Emazing and if the SK community hasn't appreciated it before, u guys better start appreciating it now because this is really quite a special group of girls that SK has acquired ....*tear*

Hello SK COMMUNITY ! It feels great to be back and wearing the SK tag *_* I don't know how good I will be at blogs, but I figure...since my mates are doing it , I might as well too...I tend to rant and go off subject a lot and then it ends up being a essay so I will try my best to keep my blogs short and sweet! I'm sure a lot off you are wondering..."what happened?" potter left SK, now she's back?!?!

Yes, I left SK last year towards the end of 2008
I had been on the team for more than 3 years and I guess I needed something else to fight for. After about 6 months away from SK I represented PMS clan and made a new cs 1.6 team with Steph, Cath, lainey and Dim! Sooo many good memories with this team ...we are all super close so when alice approached me about the merge it was one of the hardest choices i've had to make.

Neither Alice or I rushed anything....we checked , double checked...triple checked and made sure this is what we all wanted. We waited for literally 2 - 3 months beffore we even made it official. The reason this all happened? We all needed to be on the same page and we found that in this lineup...Well, some of you may laugh now of course and some of you will flame ...but in all honesty my TEAMS mindset is not to win ESWC (of course ESWC is gone, but I mean like a "female" tournament) our mindset is to MAKE OUR MARK in 2009. Sure you may think American CS is a joke so even if we succeed and beat the boys it wont be a huge accomplishment...But whatever the circumstance...a W is a W , a win a win. So watch out america...watch out WORLD -
we're hungry and ready to plow
