What do you know about Poland? Do you know its location... its capital..., do you know anyone (famous or not) from Poland?
Well... I'm Polish, and I heard Poland is known of its alcoholism... It doesn't surprise me really, when I found facts like these:
1. We are the first nation who work out how to drink denatured ethyl alcohol, vitriolic acid and cologne water
2. Some gravedigger from Krakow had 9,2‰ alcohol in his blood, and he lived...
3. In 1995 a citizen of Wroclaw reached absolute medical world record - 14,8‰ in blood. Our heroic countryman exceed 3 times the deadly dose. He died because of a car accident injuries (yup, he was driving F:).
4. In western Europe you can find alcohols with caution sign:
"deadly dose - 3,5‰. Does not concern Polish & Russian people"
5. Wladyslaw Raymont, author of "Chłopi", in A.D. 1924 didn't go to Stockholm to receive the prize of Nobelium, because he couldn't cober down. The writer died one year after because of alcoholizm.
6. Citizen of New Town Lubuskie 2 times ran away from a prosectorium. When he was completely drunk, he didn't gave any signs of life. Doctors, couldn't sense the pulse, certified death. :d
Poland is a chosen nation I tell you :D LOLz
