The Next Big Name in Gaming

What would you say that I am talking about? f0rest - one of Begrip's new stars? destructo - the American youngster that doesn't play anymore due to school? Ztrider - one of the best PK players at the moment? Giacomo - one of the upcoming talents in the Warcraft3 scene? Actually none of the names that I mentioned are the correct response to my dilemma. The actual response is quite surprising, not only for me, but for the whole gaming scene.
Today the well known American gaming community, Gotfrag, published an article featuring Brice Mellen, a guy that isn't actually involved in gaming but he does play a lot just for fun. Nothing unusual until now. But let me quote the paragraph that actually left me wordless:
"Now imagine being a superstar without ever seeing the screen. Brice Mellen, a blind professional gamer, is doing just that."
Yes that's right! Don't waste any time trying to convince yourself that you read something wrong, because you didn't. The 17 year old gamer was quite successful in Soul Caliber 2 and Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance for the Xbox laying out punishments for the guys that challenged him. Also, as I understood sometimes he even plays facing away from the screen to intimidate his opponents.
It that impressive or what? But I'll let you read the article right from the source. Let me know what you think about it..
