First day at Dreamhack S07

Heyo everyone,
Right now I'm sitting at the Scandic hotel like 200m away from Dreamhack, fisker is sleeping behind me and I have just finished uploading the first set of pictures for you to view.
We left Stockholm by train at 16:20 today and arrived in Jönköping around 19-20. After that we went to drop off our bags at the hotel and then headed to check out Dreamhack. The weather are just awful here, the rain just never stops pooring down.
We checked out the ESWC area which seemed fairly nice, again they have managed to put the computers maybe a bit too close to eachother so I'm not sure how that will affect the teams ingame speaking. I know its good for us anyway since we talk much and loud, so hopefully our opponents will find it disturbing ;)
As expected NiP and Begrip managed to win their groups and made it to the final qualifier. The teams have been told to register at 12:00 and thats when the seeding will be released aswell.
We have also caught up some with our Russian friends from Megapolis, who are participating in the female tournament here at Dreamhack. They managed to win their first match against Temptation which was 7 (!) hours delayed.
Anyway, the first day has been great, the team have already met a lot of nice fans and good friends, so we definitley have 2 very exciting days ahead of us!
Good night,
gosey

SK in Russia April 07

So I just came home from a crazy trip to Moscow, Russia. As you guys have probably seen, we have been there during this weekend to participate in a showmatch against Virtus.pro at the GG Awards.
Unfortunately Snajdan couldn't make it so I had to make a last minute step-in for him, as it takes ~1 week to get a visa to Russia. I haven't played any CS for over a year so it was probably not the best standin that you have seen. But anyway, it went ok if you ask me!
It started out on dust2, and we managed to win first half with 8-7 as T on dust2 after some really nice play by fisker and SpawN. As CT we won 8-2 so 16-9 after the first map which was pretty good considering everything ;)
On inferno it just went bad, lost the cointoss which ment that we had to start as T, and inferno with no tactics is not the most fun! So they just steamrolled us, 0-16.
Nuke looked pretty much the same, except that we managed to get 2 rounds as T, but then we actually played a pretty decent CT side where we managed to take 11 rounds before they took their 3. So 13-16, not too bad!
Now I can atleast add 1 more thing to my merit list - beating Virtus.pro on dust2! ;)
The event itself was really nice, even though it was in Russian but from what we understood everyone seemed to have a really great time. Afterwards they took us to Club Opera which is one of the best clubs in Moscow. There we all had a very very nice time and spent pretty much the whole evening and night!
Overall the trip was really nice, and we learned to know a lot of fun people, of course the Virtus.pro guys, the girls from megapolis and a lot of very nice fans! Too bad it didn't last a few more days :)
Big thanks to eSport Lab for making this trip possible!
Cheers,
Sebastian

Australia Day 1

We were actually supposed to be in the air to Australia right now, but as a matter of fact, me and SpawN are still at Inferno-Online in Stockholm. Unfortunately we had some bad timing with getting visa to Australia, which forced us to rebook the flight 1 day later.
bds, fisker, Snajdan and TheSlaSH are already in the air now though, and will be landing in a couple of hours. Mine, ahl and SpawN's flight leaves in a few hours, and I've been sitting here all night at IOS to try to adapt to the Australian timezone as good as possible.
Not the best start of this trip, but atleast we will be able to make it in time as we will land early on the morning of the ATI Mania Day.
Can't wait for the flight to leave so I finally can get some sleep!
Cu all in a day or so (that's how long the flight takes!).
