eSports in 10 years?
That is the question, I always ask myself.
Of course, I mean the development of esports, the growth.
It was last weekend when I went to the Games Convention in Leipzig in order to see what happend regarding Gaming this year so far.
To be honest, I don't care about other games or how they should played but I just wanted to know how many people are interested in esports in general.
That's why I went to the ESL Intel Shuttle Booth where I found a fantastic atmosphere of Gaming at its best.
I couldnt believe how many spectators were present, not to mention the bigness of the complete booth.
For me that was professionality in all respects.
Just in that moment while I was looking at the amazing stage, it showed me how far esports really is and how far it even can go.
Back to 2000 where my esports career began, I would have never been expected that (in the beginning) such a small hobby would become a professional occupation.
I'm really sure that this sector will become more and more important in the future both in media and private.
What do you think about the development of esports?
Is is worth to spend time in gaming or working for esports companies regarding for example job enrichment?
