Memories of iTG`Lun
"accident"
as you have probably heard, the famous shoutcaster Lun has died in a accident.
06/03/2006, what a day.
Coming back from school starting my computer, checking the news websites as always, ending up with esreality.com . While I did that I didn't see anything spectaculair in the first place. When I looked better I saw this. "Darren 'Lun' Webber dies in an accident". But of course I couldn't / didn't believe it. after seeing people comments and checking the Radio iTG site I knew it was true... After that, I had to say this to my brother, when he came back I didn't say anything to him because he just came back from work. He went upstairs and I told him. And also he didn't believe me so I told him to check esreality.com....
This is what Radio-iTG had to say about Darren "Lun" Webber.
Today, one of our own has fallen. Darren "lun" Webber, age 25, has died in a motorcycle accident. For those of you who knew Darren, you know he was a good friend and passionate about everything that he did. The news does not come lightly to any of us and we are trying to get through the best we can. Words cannot describe how we feel here at the Inside the Game family. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and anyone whos life Darren has touched. A well respected person and broadcaster has fallen today. Rest in Peace, we will miss you.
Darren Webber 11/04/1980 - 03/05/2006.
My first big event was in 2004 (Quakecon, Texas) and lun asked us (32nd core) to stay at his house with my team which we of course did. The night before we left to go back home lun and his brother (where he lives together with) showed us a little bit of Dallas which was great fun!
We cooked, we had fun, we laughed, we talked about computers, we talked about quakecon, we talked about thedutchone's (my brother) and my trackball (THE FEELING OF THE TRACKBALL!!), we talked about private lives, we talked about Radio-iTG, we talked about girls and a lot more.......

2005 (Quakecon, Texas),
I played d3 duel back then and wanted to go to quakecon, once again lun asked us (maddog and me) to stay at his house and of course we did it again, he picked us up from the airport to go to his hous. We didn't spend much time together which was a shame, he was busy casting with Radio iTG. But we still managed to have some great talks at his house, talking about the gaming community, Radio-iTG's and my future.
I would like to thank Lun for everything you've done for us (32nd core) and the gaming community.
Darren always got excited when I talked about gaming and my future plans with gaming, I always talked about my pro gaming carreer. When I left America in 2005 he said "hope your going to be a great 1v1 dueller".
and right now, after this sadness all happened I feel even more motivated to win big q4 1v1 cups / leagues / lans.
You will always have a special place in my heart. All those tournaments that I am gonna win from now on are for you buddy!!
Goodluck to his brother (where he lives with), his girlfriend, his parents, his friends and his cats.
Darren, buddy. I will miss you and never forget you!
it's really hard to say good bye to someone who has done everything to make q3ctf enjoyable.
Gonna miss you mate....
love you, big hug Ivo!!!!!
