This is my selecta team for kiev. With 3 players from SK-Gaming
New SK-squad 2011
Here is just my thoughts about our new team in 2011!I have a good feeling about 2011! Still its a bit sad that a few sk guys isnt with us anymore. You always getting good friends when playing and talking all the time in the same team.
But our replacements this year for moddi and walle who i think was really fun to play with and had a good time with, is f0rest and get_right.
Theese two players are probably the top 3 players in the world in my own opinion. And also probably the best players we could get into our team for the upcoming year.
I have played with get_right before and ofcourse seen many of his games with fnatic, so i know his playingstyle quite good. He is a really smart player. He usually have many and good ides what opponents are doing or what to do VS different teams himself which will make myself more comfortable in-game.
But f0rest i've never played with before, but i wanted to quite some time now since he has always been playing really good in fnatic. Doing crazy clutch rounds VS the best teams out there.
I think our new SK team 2011 will learn much from eachother! and i have a feeling this is gonna be a good year for us... And now i am really looking forward to playing our first tournament in Kiev SOON!!!

SK before Dreamhack
Some small talk before Dreamhack jönköping!About the dreamhack tournament i think we have to play better then our last event to even have a chance:P And i do think we have improved since the last event as well. Its many good teams playing the DH tournament so we need our focus a 100% through all of the games and also to build up our ""match confidence". I also think we need to play more relaxed in matches.
The wcg qualifyer i just hope that we have gotten some warmup. Then i think we can do good vs the teams that are left. Since its just 1 match at first there it would be great to have played some maps before such a important match.
Final 4 will be really interesting to play. Its just few teams left ofc. So its really important to go into every match with a good matchplan and to have talked through the match before it started.
Every tournament we will play at dreamhack is gonna be really important so its hard to separate the tournaments other then its different teams in all of them. But for me it would be really fun go all the way with WCG. Since i've never been there.
Soo lets see what happends and lets hope for a good weekend =) Cheers!
Mix at IO qualify
Infame mix at IOHey! I just came home from the last qualifyer. Our mix was (Me, Get_Right, zneel, jumpy, florenz) And we hadnt even played with eachother before the event.
We started the groupstage with a quite easy win. Then we were up against playzone.fi which we knew were the best team in our group. And actually it felt really easy when we started our CT-side on nuke. We basicly won every round that half and finished 13-2 and then we got totally comfortable and started to play a little bit to random which made playzone come back to a 15-15 result. Before the last groupmatch we were 1 round worse then playzone so we had to play good to take the 1st place in our group. Well we did and we got 16-2 i think and playzone lost some rounds which made us finish 1st in the group.
Well out first match in the groupstage went quite easy. We played really good and there wasnt any real problem there.
But then in the semi-final of the day we were up against MYM.
We started as CT and we lost the first pistolround of the match. Then we took some weaponsrounds in a row and we kind of got some momentum in the game. Then there was some rounds back and forth and mym took the last 3 rounds of the first half if i remember correctly:P 9-6 to mym the first half. Then we won the T-pistol and started to pick some rounds and got some momentum up. When Mym started to AWP as ct we lost some rounds that we couldnt do much about but finally we could finish with 16-13...
After mym we were playing playzone.fi again in a bo3. And in this match we just focused on our aim this time and didnt do too much tactic wise. Jumpy called some rounds and then some rounds people just did what they felt like and we just communicated ingame really good instead which made us have the control over the game almost the whole game through i think. It felt really good to beat them after a tie in the groupstage.
And now to the final. We had been at IO for about 10 hours straight (with two small food breaks) and were going to face Complexity.
We started out on inferno as T and we had some trouble picking up rounds. The rounds were close back and forth and they won the first half 8-7. And as CT we didnt really got any momentum and our communication were actually quite bad. We lost almost all the close rounds and they could take home the first map. And we were a bit dissepointed ofc. We went outside for a talk and chose to play dust2 as second map. We felt confident on that one after the match vs mym. And it felt like we had the rounds going for us and we played really good the whole map through. We won dust2 quite easy with good aim and communication. The last map of the tournament were Nuke. We started as T and it was a really close side for us. They closed some rounds really good and we did some good rounds too and we won our 1on1 and 2on2 situations. We got into the 2nd half with a lead 8-7. And we knew that we had a strong ct-side since earlier matches of the tournament. And i have to say that the guys holding b1 did a really really good job closing this site totally which made us going as champions :)
It was a really good and fun tournament!!! CHEERS!
SK before arbalet
A little bit before arbalet stockholm!Well just some day ago the groups from arbalet stockholm came up. And to be honest i see almost all the teams as potential winners. Some more then others ofc, but there is no bad team coming there. Well about the group i think we have a quite good chance of winning the group. Some of it depends on which map we will face some teams on, but overall i think we have a good chance in our group. We had a good result vs united last time we played them even if the map scores was really close. Wemade fox is a team of suprises i think, some evens they play really good and some events not as good so its hard to predict anything in that game. Then i think EG is the strongest team we will meet in our group. But if we play really good individually i think we have a good chance on a good result. We have played more together as a team now and i hope we will do well :)
SK's start in EPS
Hey people! Im just wanna write something small about our 2 first eps games that we have done so far:)In our first game of this season of EPS we were facing the swedish team H2K. We were looking forward to playing vs them, specially me since H2K is my former team and its always more fun playing a former team.
Well about this first match that we were playing on nuke. We actually had the momentum the whole game. The final score was 16-2 and we felt good about our first win in EPS.\r\nThen we got into some trouble. Some of us had used net_graph. Strange at it is, they said that we had to play a REMATCH vs H2k, just because 2-3 ppl were using net_graph 3, thats silly.
This time our ct-side on nuke werent going as good. We took 1 round each through the whole side basicly and we werent that happy about it. Then we started to playing our game on T-side and we got the win at 16-8. And after that it felt good that something like this couldnt bring us down.
Just the day after our rematch vs H2k, we were gonna play against our swedish competition MYM. We have played vs them before and they have also done very good at tournaments. So we knew that they were a good team.
The match was going to take place on Train and we went into the game with big confidence in ourselves. Thats actually a must to play your A-game, u cant be afraid of your opponents.
We started as CT and they did a very good pistolround which they won. Mym was up 3-0 and the weaponrounds started. We knew that we had a good CT-side on train so we had to rely on that. The 1st weaponround we won and from then and on everything felt really good within the team. We took 10 rounds in a row and then lost just one more before the half break. Which made the score 11-4. When the T-side started we had some trouble coming into the game. Basicly lost some strange rounds when MYM was on lowcash and they were fighting good to come back into the game. But i think we did a good job anyway taking our t-rounds that we needed early enough. The score was 16-9.
It feels good to have won the 2 first matches so far and i hope we can keep this up for the rest of the tournament.
