Honestly guys,
lately I've recognized that World of Warcraft messed up with a friends IRL completly. Everything started with missing some important dates/visits and so on ... ( At that time I just thought "OK, shit happens " ), but hell yeah wake up - He has just been fooled by an online video game ffs.
Last weekend he was supposed to go to a birthday party of my cousin who turned 18. Yeah you guessed right, he was "supposed" to go. He actually went over there to shake his hands and he really thought about explaining to him that jis pc is running and that he had to complete a quest within 60 minutes otherwise it fails ( "So err ... well I don't have much time right now, because .. err .. well maybe I drop by later ... bye ").
Besides he's playing because the game "just rocks", maybe that's one of the biggest problems he has. He's playing from midnight till the early morning even he promised himself not to do so. So why does he continue breaking his own words ? I don't know. It's 1 a.m He's finishing up his last quest for "today" - oh shit that freaking NPC gives out another one. Okay so he's heading up for this one again ( "really it's the last one" ) ... and so on.
At 5 a.m his parents wake up to make themselves ready for todays working schedule, while their son is sitting in front of his computer without any sleep at all, just because of one single game.
Greetings,

Looks a bit messy :/
I've written < br > but the code didn't accept my message as it seems. That's why it looks a bit messy
Your friend isn't the only one, I know countless people that has this. Total addiction :/
Ain't working
i never started playin WoW, cuz when i read the first previews i knew this game is too addictive for me ;)
i just had a break for like 3 weeks after playing it non stop for 3 months. But recently it just making a lot of fun again
hopefully i manage to quit soon, but wont be easy^^
"No i just have to finish this quest, 10 minutes(takes 30)"
"Almost leveled, just a minute"
MMORPG's are bad ^.^
When your friend is at the point where I was a while ago, where your only choices are to actually start doing something with your life if you want to survive, he'll have no choice anymore. Gaming will be a secondary concern at that point, trust me.
and to evermore, it's really up to himself, BUT as a friend i would try to do something to let him think of something else than that game.. why not go to spain or something with friends and have some good time that will make him think of something else than that stupid game
I played it during one month, then I got bored...
This game is just addictive and boring.
DONT BUY IT§§§
some of my irl friends stil spend a whole lot of time playing this peace of crap
of course i take part in e-sports because i still believe there is future in it and not only financial, it can grow in better ways...i mean pro gamers in the future should be given the chance work as beta testers in huge game publishers...etc etc...smth which would complete the image of a gamer..working to day and tomorrow...not just today!
Your friend is just addicted ones he hits the 60 does lots of MC runs he will get it that the game is boring.I am addicted aswell and i am starting to get bored of the game.. evryone will anyway it's just the group of type guy you are; if u like such games u will play it alot if ur just an addicted one it will end soon.
