Another interview with JEAGARN from my collection year 2006/7 .

Everybody knows who JAEGARN is but we want to know who the man behind the nick is. Could you tell us the story about yourself?
Hello my name is Fredrik Andersson, im 20 years old and when i was 15, i first started out playing counter-strike on a local lan.I have played competitive counter-strike for about 3 years now attending some of the best events around the world and have played for a couple of world known teams such as. Begrip, mYm and team9.

How did you begin to play counter-strike and what was it that convinced you to begin to play counter-strike professionally?
I started out at a local lan with my brothers and friends, but it wasent really untill 2 years later that i decided to go proffesional. What convinced me? hmm. Probably the teamplay since i was a former soccer star .

What other games do you play besides Counter-Strike?
No others computer games.

What do you think is the most important ingredients in making a successful Counter-Strike team?
The work behind the team is always hard. Its not hard to find 5 players that can work together booth in-game aswell as outside the game. But work, teamspirit and skill is always been the baseline of counter-strike

Could you share one of your best moments throughout your Counter-Strike career?
Winning against NiP after losing to them twice before in tight games was realy nice.

Which team would you rather face in a final at the next big event that you visit, and which team would you rather not face?
I dont care what team i face, cause you need to be better then all the teams to win an event, But ofcourse i love playing vs NiP SK or Fnatic, since they are our biggest rivals in sweden

What do you think about the current state of the eSport scene? How do you think it will develops and what do we (the community and the organizations) have to do to take it further?
We need more live coverage and documentaries from all the events worldwide. Cause we wont be big on tv or in official newspapers, if we dont take the next step. You can almost make everything into a great tv-show nowadays, so i dont really get why the most played game around the world havent got more time in television or atleast being able to have e-sport programs on 1 channel a country.Thats what we need to do.

When looking into the future were do you see yourself in the gaming scene in five years, or do you think that you will retire before that?
Depends, i have always loved e-sport and lately i have been working for the company Qpad here in sweden, booth as a player but also on the sale department. So i really want to continue working in e-sport, but i also still love to compete, so i hope can continue with counter-strike proffesional.

Which event do you think is the best event to attend for a gamer or spectator, and why?
WCG and ESWC as a player, because you get to represent your country, and that is a special feeling, but CPL is also a special feeling, and i think cpl is more fun to watch because their are always the top notch teams and gamers attending that event, booth during summer and winter.

Which place in the world have you enjoyed most while traveling, and is there anywhere else that you would like to go?
Dallas usa, with chillside-gaming! that was really an insane trip.I would like to attend some kind of event in asia, cause i havent been their yet.

How would your life look like if you would have chosen, not to play Counter-Strike professionally?
Dont know, probably still been playing soccer in a swedish or foreign team, but im happy that i got into e-sport, cause i have meet so many great people on the way.

What do you think is the biggest difference between sweden and the rest of world in Counter-Strike? And what do you think about the best Swedish teams versus the best European teams?
We have always had better connection and better oportunities to lan and a better tactical ground, But now lately the foreign teams have been catching up on us, so we will probably se the asian teams coming up in a couple of years.

If you were about to choose players for a Team Sweden, who would you choose?
tentpole f0rest spawn dsn and walle

Who would you say is the best top 5 teams in the world?
fnatic nip pentagram mYm and ex hoorai

Best gunner (colt/ak) in "Sweden"?

Best awp player in "Sweden"?

Best all-round player in "Sweden"?

eSports/RL rl and esports
nVidia/ATI nVidia
SKGaming|cavnea/me you!

What do you think about UFO?
