Just going to write a short blog on essential addons for rogues, and although maybe not to everyones taste, they are very useful to me, so perhaps they will be to you aswell =]
Addons
http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=297]Insomniax[/url]
- Insomniax is the core addon that i have chosen when playing as a rogue, its relatively clean (i disabled a large amount of addons which were included in it), and also includes valuable features such as Ace, Scrolling combat text, CTraid assist.
note: I run insomniax at the resolution 1280x1024 with UI ratio decreased to make buttons/icons smaller.
Insomniax includes some very (underline that someone!) features for rogues, such as a set of bars which appear when you go into combat, or have low energy/hp, and also displays how many combo points you have on a target, and their Hp and mana/energy/rage.
StunWatch
- Stunwatch keeps track of how long your stun effects will last, it also automatically detects which rank cheapshot/gouge you are using (Also works with blinding effects). A very handy tool.
Ctmod Rogue helper
- This is a smaller option to that which comes with insomniax, this is a smaller frame which (by default) appears underneath your user frame (by default, top left), which indicates how many combo points and energy you have in a numberical value (0/5, 75/100) etc.
Titan Panel
Another addon which i feel is very handy, is the well known Titan Panel, this displays many very day things that you need to know around the world of Azeroth, such as how much money/free container slots you have, your rank, your honourable kills for the day, and so on.
Note: when using Titan Panel, i tend to turn down the opacity of the bar until it is completely transparent, and i also set it to the largest that i can make it, making it easy to view.
Ok, i think thats about all the addons i can think of that i use, feel free to state anymore rogue addons which you feel are handy (include direct url)
Also feel free to check out exactly how many ui looks, its in my Gallery
