hello guys
i tryed to write a small text about finding out, which combo of mouse, mousepad and mousespeed is good (for me ;>)
all in all, every mouse just fuck me up some time^^
in my opinion (i have tested all this mouses for about 2 years):
razer = fast mouse, for middle up to high sensitivity ( use plastic pads ) sometimes you will own everything with this mouse, but its hard to play constant.
logitech = constant gaming for a long time. using it on a non-plastic pad with low up to middle sensitivity will allow you to play very constant, but you will never be as fast as a razer- or microsoft-mouse.
microsoft = can be used for all sensitivities. i would take a plastic-pad and a mix of middle- and high-sensitivity, cause when you play for a long time, you become very constant and fast with this combo.
for gamers, that cannot aim very good i would say, that you should use a low-sens with a non-plastic pad at the beginning.
when you think, that you have taken out all off your skill compared to your low-sens with NON-plastic pad, buy a plastic pad and use directly a higher sens (like 1,75 times -higher then your older one)
for example:
you use senstivity 2 on a qck+ pad:
- you lern to play consistant and keep trying to reach a higher aiming level
- after some time, like 2 month, you play very consistant and cant reach a higher/faster aiming-level with low-sens@NON-plastic pad
you buy a steelpad s&s/fun surface/icemat/other speedpads and use sensitivity of 3 up to 3,5:
(2 * 1,5 up to 1,75 = 3 up to 3,5)
- you start trying to play consistant and fast, but like on the same high aiming-level before
this is not a "aiming-gui", but i think that this is the most successful way to learn how to aim good and fast.
you will see, that aiming will not bring you to the highest rankings at you league or turnament
but when you try playing like its written here, it will help you finding out where you have to play slow and where you have to react fast. have fun and good luck^^
i used this mouses:
-razer diamondback
-ms 1.1 (3.0)
-logitech g1, g5 and mx500
mousepads:
-older speedpad from mtw
-steelpad s&s
-steelpad qck
