The Kosovo gaming scene started after the war.
First games to be played were Halflife, quake, starcraft etc but
only one game atracted the KS's youth and that was CS.
The competitive scene in CS started whith the gathering of pub
players and the creation of Teams.
No tournaments no sponsoring no help just the desire of gamers
helped this scene to survive and become what it is today.
At the late 2002-2003 the scene became larger new teams were
created every day the gaming centers were full of young gamers
willing to be the best.
The 2003 was so far the best year for Kosovas gaming.
After we the gamers saw that no one was interested in helping
(sponsoring) us the foreign gamers started to organise
tournaments, leagus, cups etc to help the gaming to survive.
The 2003 summer tournament organised totaly by radiomhz was a hit
even some of the best clans didnt attend the tournament it was
succesfull.
The 2004 winter tournament was something huge. Only the best
teams attended the event, every games was close, many games went
in multiple OT, many unknown gamers showed their skill and
desire. This tournament was the point why KS gamers got the
attention of neighborhood countries.
After the tournament everybody knew that Gaming is the future but
no one sponsored teams or tournaments but thanks to the gaming
centers many teams still keep fighting for the respect of the
others. Still after 4-5 years of gaming none of the teams tryed
to go outside Kosovo and show some skill. This problem was mainly
caused because of sponsorships or travel documents, those were
the main problems, but in august of 2004 a group of friends

went to a tournament in macedonia where they left very good
impression beating the top clans there but at the end they got
only the 3 place.
This showed the top teams that are

that they can be the champions of the tournaments held in
neighborhood countries and maybe further.
This september the 20th a big tournament will be held in
Prishtina and all top teams of neighborhood countries and further
are invited to "get to know the foreing teams ".
