SK.Ladies Steelseries bootcamp :)Hi Everybody.

Alice and I flew in Chicago at 9:30 AM on Saturday morning. We left LA at 10 pm friday night, had a 3.5 hour layover in Detroit, MI, and had a 40 minute flight to Chicago, IL. We got to Jennys place, took a shower, ate and came to the Steelseries Office. The place is huge! its really nice :D Alice took a video of it and put it on her page so go lookies! anyways, i feel very very exhausted... we've been playing for 10 hours straight.. !! im really bad at writing blogs :) ill be in LA around 10 PM Monday night.

Life after ESWC..

JULY 2010ESWC has left me speechless. After waiting so long for the tournament, I never thought that my time would finally come. I finally did it! WE WON! I had so.. so so much fun and I want to go back so bad!!! I fell in love with this random peach ice tea in the vending machine we had in the lobby and the nutella crepes. Omg so delicious........ other then that, I wasn't very satisfied with the food. The portions were tiny and everything was so WARM... The hotel rooms were really cute... except for the shitty wifi and the fact that there was no A/C was just so ridiculous. it was SO freaking hot i couldn't believe it. on top of that, my luggage was lost and i didn't have anything until the next day. The tournament was on time which was great. I was really glad that the finals were in the morning because it would've been super hot in there if it was any later then 10 am.. i would've died if i had to play in that heat! the matches were smooth and went by quick.. I was so relieved that everything went well and that we won easily. Later that day we went to disneyland. I COULDNT BELIEVE THEY CLOSED DOWN THE ENTIRE THEME PARK FOR ESWC PEOPLE ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had so much fun at the after party and met a lot of new people... bob sinclar was so fucking great.. omg he blew kisses at me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) well.. other then paris.. being home feels so great. i was gone for 18 days and that was the longest ive ever been away. but on a serious note.. where is my money?! i want to go shopping already! ! I recently bought a new LCD with my arbalet $ and i've been having lots of fun playing CS lately. My team and I are participating in the ESL Online Cups and EG Masters Cup before the ESEA League season starts. Other then that, not much has been going around other then the fact that i will be a senior in high school in about 1 month! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. pretty exciting knowing that i only have 1 more year of high school left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

TX Bootcamp Day 3+4

WOW.So we just finished our second ESEA Open Playoffs match and WOW.. no freaaaaking commenttttttttt!! we lost 13-2 first half and came back tied 15-15.. and won in overtime!!!!!!!!! super intense match! here are the stats if anybody cares :

! Ok anyways.. :) reguardless of esea playoffs, haven't been doing much here but fragging! I don't remember plowing cs this hard for a really long time but it's been fun. i really enjoy lanning with steph and potter. it makes CS so much easier.. friday morning needs to come faster so ali&jso can be fragging with us all day tooooo :)
well...... 7 more days and we'll be on our way to Paris! ESWC woww.. its just around the corner ahh i can't wait :)

TX Bootcamp Day 1+2

..Finally.LAX -> DFW - 10:05 AM.

yeah rightt. as usual.. with the amazing luck that i have, my flight got cancelled..so then i get sent to ticketing to see what the earliest flight is that i can get on..

1:35 pm.

waited at my gate for like 4 freaking hourssssss..... then finallyyyy made it to texas at like 7:00 PM. i stepped outside of the airport and wow... 98 degrees at like 7:30 at night.. i couldn't even breathe! i thought LA was pretty.. hot i guess but it is never 100 degrees at night. potter and missharvey then pick me up and yay now im here writing a blog :) our first day of prac (saturday night) was kind of BLAH.. i was pretty exhausted from waiting, flying, waiting, and waiting some more.. my setup here wasn't cooperating with me and i was just overall getting frustrated! but today, (SUNDAY) is a new day and i've been pugging all morning so now im excited for practice later :)

E_S_W_C_2_0_1_0My days have been going by way too slow. I am currently sitting in class writing this blog.. wishing that school could end just a tad bit faster. Finally my junior year in high school is coming to an end on the 18th of June and then ..YAYYY - the very next morning i will be on my way to Texas! I will be at potter's house bootcamping until the 29th and I can't wait. I love playing with my teammates on lan.. it feels so much more productive and worthy compared to online prac. on the 29th, we will all be flying to Paris together and for once, i am pretty excited to travel a long distance :D Anyways.. I need to go back to class !

Arbalet Female Cup

Kiev, Ukraine!I truly can not tell you guys how excited I am for the Arbalet Cup! :) Alice and I will be flying from Los Angeles to Ukraine on the 15th. I finally get the opportunity to play in an all female tournament and I can't wait! I'm really happy to finally see the girls again and I'm so excited to frag with them on lan :)

Anyways, I will definitely be posting another blog so stay tuned!

Wow.. so that volcano fucking sucked. My team and I were soo fucking disappointed and everything was just so chaotic..!! I can't believe everything finally worked out though. The Arbalet tournament and the admins were fucking amazing hands down. I appreciate the fact that everything was instantly rescheduled, finalized and confirmed. I ALSO CAN NOT BELIEVE I FINALLY WON MY FIRST FEMALE LAN TOURNAMENT. I've been waiting for this for such a long time that it seems crazy. I was finally old enough for ESWC and then there wasn't even an ESWC ANYMORE!!!!!! haha sad :( but anyways.. i had so much fun in Ukraine and I hope to be back for another victory @ an arbalet cup :)

BLOG #2

COUNTER-STRIKE. . .I've decided to write a blog about me & CS. Lets just clear up the fact that i am very down on luck... if that makes any sense. So i started playing when i was about 9-10 and got into the competitive scene when i was around 10-11. I joined my first team named ' eNd ' which is where i met jordan 'n0thing' G. He was about 13 and i was about 11 (he hated me :[ ). Anyways, i started to notice that there are girl teams around. i never had somebody by my side to teach me how to play and what the maps are, etc. I really wanted to accomplish something to do with the game that i spent hours and hours on so i joined a couple of girl teams here and there and i finally was somewhat a 'known' player. pugging, 1v1, jumping maps, scrimming, pubbing, anything.. i was always down to play. around the age of 14, i slowly started to realize i just can't cooperate with the girls that i met from playing. from age of 14 and on, i've always enjoyed playing with guys. i always learned something new and it was just way more fun. i eventually started showing up to lans just to watch because it is/was always so hard for me to find a group of people to play with @ lan. Im not exactly sure when and how i met Alice, but i did and i told her about my interest in joining GX3 and so on. I was in GX3 (GIRLS GOT GAME) for just a couple of months until i noticed that there is no point of me being on the team. when i found out that ESWC has an age requirement of 16+, i was pretty heartbroken. eventually i found a group of guys to play with. it was during the summer (no school) so we spent a lot of time playing at a lan center called 'phatlootz'. phatlootz closed down AND then CNC came around ! a local southern california lan center where ive spent many many many MANY hours playing cs. I had my mind set on the fact that 'im going to go to ESWC when i am 16 and i am going to win.' When i was 15, i joined SK-GAMING LADIES (picture above). we played together until eswc was just around the corner which is when lidy joined the team. while SK was busy with their ESWC lineup, i was playing with other people and attending socal lan tournaments. and so here comes 2009... excited and determined to play CS with something to look forward to. being a part of SK-GAMING and planning to attend ESWC was just such a huge 'thing' for me... and then we all know what happened.

My mom and brother have always supported my gaming. My dad is just somewhat clueless about it but thats okay. My brother is probably my #1 FAN :] he has always been up to date with me and always reminding me to keep my chin up. Its always been hard to explain to friends but my closest friends think it is really cool.

I can honestly say that i have never really 'stopped' playing CS. the game has made a big impact on my life. i do not regret sneaking into my brothers room to play CS ( he never let me ) and as much as people say "i wish i never bought this" or "this is such a waste of time" i will always always enjoy playing. i have met so many amazing, awesome, cool, and funny people and i dont know when i am ready to give it all up but im not sure if i have any other choice
