A movie you should see: Sharkwater

The truth will surface.I watched Sharkwater yesterday, and I really recommend everyone to see it if you have not already. It is a very different documentary about sharks, displaying the true story about one of the oldest animal on earth. They have existed in different forms for over 400 million years (long before dinosaurs) and are a very important part of our eco systems.

Now humans are mass killing them for their fins which has turned into a big mafia operation. Over 90% of the shark population has been killed already.

SK-Gaming.com success and new design

I am really happy, we have increased our figures by more than 100% compared to the same period last year.According to Google Analytics, absolute unique uses have gone up by over 100% and page impressions with almost 150%. This is a very good sign considering the competition is just getting tougher and tougher.

People have adjusted to the new site, and have started to use our functions a lot more. We have also attracted a high figure of new users.

Behind the scenes we have been working hard adding a lot of new features, the todo list has over 100 entries that will be added and released in the next month, together with a new design (that is why we released the poll about light vs dark background, and you will be able to select between the two).

We want to thank all our users for being here, and we promise that SK-Gaming.com will improve even more in 2009!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from Åre, Sweden!I am on vacation skiing in the northern part of Sweden right now, Åre to be more exact. The last couple of years I have written a summary of the year and what we in SK expect of the future, I won't be able to do that from here, but I will when I get back.

Video and album upload working again

We installed new hard drives to our file server yesterday.Which is why video and album upload did not work for some time. Everything should be up and running now.




I dont want to brag... but

We did some competitions during the PR tour in South Africa.Game 1 - Football:
Myself, robban and allen vs loda, dota, snow and hailo
Result: Win 3-2

Game 2 - Swimming, 25m relay crawl:
Myself and robban vs loda and snow
Result: Win by 10 seconds

Game 3 - Pool eight-ball:
Myself vs loda vs hailo
Result: Win!

Game 4 - Cricket:
Sweden vs SA
Result: 19-10



Level and XP

As most you have noticed there has been drops in levels for all users.We are currently tweaking the system to prevent abuse to rank fast, so dont be afraid that you have dropped, everyone else has.



Beach 2009 here I come

On my way to the gym.When I was younger I went to the gym much more often, time to get back on track! Plus the skiing season is coming up...
