The new site is coming closer every day now. One change is that we will focus more on specific sub sites for different games. So if you are only interested in CS for example, you dont need to read news about WoW.
With this change we are looking for new staff to work in these areas. The sub sections to begin with will be:
- COUNTER-STRIKE
- STARCRAFT II
- WARCRAFT III
- WORLD OF WARCRAFT
- FIFA
- DOTA
If we feel the need for another section later on we will add that, or if someone believes he can run one from the start, let me know (maybe in ET:QW, CoD, racing etc).
Email me at bds@sk-gaming.com with your application, either in plain mail or attached as a .pdf. (I wont reply to all of them, just so you know.)

The new forums will hopefully get rid of most spammers and trolls.

Tell me what you want to do instead :)
german news staff fe.
I assume you'll be taking a similar approach to gotfrag?
so each section will have it's own address instead of using some sort of a filter? :P
Yes

Will be a combination.
And no, the site shouldn't be in Chinese neither. They probably won't be around here anyway.
Any idea for the release date of the new SK site?
#25 theres no Chinese here :(
#30 It's not perfect and everything can be better. That's why he's upgrading.
edit: imo the best way of doing it is like ESReality does it: nice filters. You end up missing too much when you have to select different sub-sites. But of course a mix of the two like you announced could work great.
There is no global conspiracy to stop people reading their own native languages and I'm sure that readmore and fragbite are fantastic sites, but the simple overriding fact is I can't read them solely because of the language barrier. You could say using English is the same, but 95% of people don't have the option to learn Swedish at school.

eSreality and one of its spawn (xfire.be) are the best example of how a multi-language community can work. On xfire if you want to make a single/native language journal (equivalent to a forum) then you add a tag on the end eg
'ich bin [de]'
So all those who don't speak German know to avoid it if they choose to do so.
Good luck. Can't wait to see the new site.
top quality game
lear11 on live if any1 wants to have a game!
he plays girly sports and wishes he was asian
Send it again!
It will be a special kind of multilang.
Done!
Regardless of how well their teams and players are doing, there is only a limited amount they can do by continuing to use their native language.
The PGS interview is a great example, I bet their traffic skyrockets because they translated it into English and more people can read it.
The two languages which you can justify are English and Chinese.
The best way is to keep it all in English.
great to hear sk will pay attention to starcraft !!!:D
