Although, this kind of questions about the new sk website seems a god way. Did you ever considered usability tests? http://www.useit.com. With the tests plus the users opinions you could do an excellent job in the new site interaction.

i think #24 hit the nail at the right spot. But maybe it would be at great idea to add lifestyle or something like that to the non-eSport sektion. A place where people can talk about clothes, fashion, cars etc. In this sektion it could also be a chance for people to "help" each other with home studies or just get advice for common problems.
Take a look at www.xplayn.com, their forum is divided in such catagories, and it works great I think.

I suggest you to create a "Gaming Peripherals" area in the forum. As many users discuss about mousepads and mouses, especially Counter Strike players.

I don't know if someone has mentioned it but...would be nice to have a TOP and BOTTOM button because for example you want to view the last post and there are over 80 posts it would be easier to just click a button to send you in the bottom of the page instead of scrolling down and after you read it clicking the button TOP to send you in the top of the page to navigate elsewhere.
Or an option to choose if you want the older posts first and the new posts last and vice-versa.
