I am really thrilled, the new site is progressing fast now. Some features are damn nice additions. I hope I will be able to add everything I have in mind before release.
There will be some changes in terms of users. First of all since so many are asking, old accounts will be moved!
A) If you fake your gender, your account will be banned. So everyone who is faking now, change back.
B) You wont be able to rename your username on the new site, so if you consider doing so, do that now. Also, - and _ wont be allowed in nicks, keep that in mind (only a-z and 0-9).
C) Only one email address per user will be allowed. So if you are using multiple accounts with the same mail address, you need to change that. Only the first one registered with that email will work.
D) I will deactivate accounts that have been idle for over a year, so if you know you havent logged in for a while do that now, or be prepared to lose the account. A deactivated account means ppl can take that username.

But what should I do, if an old acc with name "pa1n" will be removed and I want that name? But, as you it was said, I will not be able to change my nick then? What should I do? Change my nick to something else? I don't want to die!!! :D
When the new site is released people will be able to change their nick one last time.
Look nice. But if the new website is released do you also remove all the data like guestbook entries and stuff and start with clean databases?

- From time to time some guys will or want to change their usernames. For example if you have a new idea of a cool nick. It's senseless not be able to change your nick!
- in some nicks is an "-" or "_" because the nick includes it, for example "My-Nick", "Hell-Boy" etc.

Or, just give us 2 weeks after you delete nicks, cause for example, i picked up Styl3r- cause someone already took Styl3r.. so, that's the main problem.. so, what i need to do now, rename myself as Styl3r123 ? :D

Maybe you can do this 'feature' now, that way some of the people can get their usernames back. To be more effictive maybe you can lower the limit idle time (say, 6-8 months?) I wonder how many users do come back after being idle on a site for over 8 months.
And regarding faking gender, of course we cant prove every single user, but if we find out someone is faking, that account will be banned and the user will not be able to retrieve it again.

What is if u change your nickname in CS and you want to have the same nick here, it's not good!
MAybe it would be good if you dont allow users to use _ or - but changing nick, I dont agree with this.
