Hmmm... Very interesting question... I'll write some ideas, which I've got at the moment...
Let's start from news-part. It's good, yes... Informative (but some times to short), yes... BUT... You are writing only MAIN news in scene section. All other news, that could be added, or some part if it, is submitting by users. But not all news is getting posted. Why? Because not every person can just write news, or they just submit links. Sure, it's wrong, but some part of this news gets lost, cause of being not in English/German/French or some other euro-language... For example - Russian news... The thing, that I'd be happy to see, is news submitting system, as Fnatic site has... User can write news with the same control, as newsmaker, but it getting posted only after approving by admin/newsmaker... Also, the author of such news will be shown not admin, which approved this news, will be shown person, which wrote this news... The most active writers than, could become SK|newswriters... I think that this will be very nice thing.

I’ve forgot another important thing: Some time ago, I’ve sent you *rar-file with the rest of flags, which you don’t have… Have you seen them? Or, as usual: “I’ll check it later…”? Because it’s not very good to see people without flags, or people, asking: “How can I set EU flag? Cause there is no flag of my country x(“!

Well, acutally there is one or two things that annoy me.
Firsti thing first, this is the ghost accounts. You would probably not delete them, ok no problem. But u can just rename them and send the users the info on their mail. In that way they will be informed and again visite the site when they see the letter.
Secondly, i think most of the users will agree, are the forums.
Most of the forums have number of topics, that can be deleted for sure... So as i said in one topic, it would be nice if there is special forum crew, that is resposible for the forums.
One or two people per devision, or whatever structure u want or consider to be useful.
May be some gallery pictures should be deleted because of what they show, and probably you should implement some penalty / rewarding system... i dont have clear view of the last but it`s up to you =] i hope i was useful in some way :)
More 'community features', make this a site people can stay on without getting bored within 10-15mins after reading some news.
Better search engine too, but I think you already know that :p
yes bds insider trial, but it has to be an invitation by someone (who has an insider account) so that everyone doesnt have access to insider info. maybe put some restrictions too.. such as only one trial a month given by an insider to a friend or something..
#22 sourcing news isnt about where you read it in my opinion, if you took a statement from your "source" then that would require a "source link", but just from reading it at a certain place isnt source material, you still need to work hard to get the statements yourself and gather the facts. If you look at newspapers / TV news channels they report the same things, but tackle it from a different angle. The only time you see a source is if for example; David Beckham sold his life story to Hello magizine, meaning people would have to source to Hello magizine if they wanted to use this. (This is my opinion.)
More forum features like you see on other standard boards; avatars, signatures, postcounts/ranks.. just some things to make the posting experience a bit more sophisticated. I understand that abuse of such features is a possibility though.
For the future i would like to see a new team section. The team section atm looks boring and looks like someone forgot to finish it in my eyes. The shop section should also get a new a look. For the forum i would like to see something like a post counter, but i think this will a bit difficult because many people with posts like "heaton" or "madfrog" would see this as a new motivation for their spamming. It would be nice to remove all that google ads between the news. Maybe a movie-forum would be good too because many people are talking about gamingvideos.

Well I know there are a lot of content pages that take a huge amount of space from the website but I think it can be a bit more appealing with some pictures or something like it. Like highlighted scene news are image-associated and the rest just plain text. (this would be for the graph part)
For the coding:
1. As stated before the teams page should definitely go through some rough surgery. Putting those players in the current page is not that nice I think.
2. I think you definitely have to split the spammers from contributers and develop the ranking system into something like approved levels or something according to some ranges of points (eg. forum points, scene points, features points, etc) and give extra points for hot blogs, submitted news and so on.
Allow the user to use these points in their benefit: a t-shirt, one month insider, gather with the team, a photo album with signed pictures, etc.
3. I would also put some more work into the team's profile page and allow them to host their mini clan-page as this is all about I guess. Let them have small galleries, news, guest books, members presentation, awards, etc. Not that much coding and it does make a huge difference with users feeling this is just for them and for free. Also add some extra cool features for "insider teams"
4. A huge and updated FAQ section. I am not saying that the website is not user friendly and not by far, I am just saying that the information on nono's for example are too short, too few. Users have to read SK's blogs to find some very useful information and a FAQ section could make a difference.
This is all I can think of at this point. I know some of the stated ideas are resource killers, some are hard work and so on but I also think that this could pay off.

important thing is contact with users...all people on this site like their ranking and everything about it. So you can add some next statistics,for example for number of comments,hits in profile or gallery...

Well since I already started with all this let's go further with them
News: Everyone's focus is on the high-level gaming and they are aware of this but no one is actually making a move. A great alternative for staying without news for a week because nothing really happens is keeping an eye on the smaller teams or on top teams in undeveloped countries, gaming related of course. If users won't be pleased to see their middle-ranked teams named in sk-gaming nothing will ever please them. But than again this would mean tons of work and here is a short quick solution: weekly country overviews with match results in those countries, short interviews, names, etc.
Features: Gaming, gaming, gaming. A guy does something and his face is on an SK Feature. Not saying this is wrong but at some point users get a bit tired of it with same people stating same things most of the times and comments do show that. I would really like to see some nice products reviews on this website, a dedicated person to advise users on what to purchase or what fits what and so on. If I were a professional gamer I would definitely like to know what such a huge portal/website/community has to say on a specific product.
Coverage: Scores are important but feelings make the difference. Telling the user the score for a particular game is information. Having a free chat with the player after the game has ended on how, what, why is feeling and users want to know what happened there and there.
Forums: Most of the threads there are plain spam. Adding debate moderators would be a huge leap. Users may open threads just for getting over the moment's boredom and as no thread to write something smart is actually there they spam. A debate moderator who launches smart topics with numerous pros and cons on a subject is what the forums need.
Have some other ideas but not that important.
Note: This is just my point of view and may be interpreted at some point like I am mister know-it-all which is just because of the multiple use of the word "users" but at the end of it all I think this is what I as an user would like to see. No-one should be offended in any ways about this and apologies for those who do.

Well a new page would be great, and it would be perfect if it would be built like mouz.wazap.com (mousesports page).
Its the most attractive and userfriendlyest Teampage i know.
A Clan like SK should do more Communitystuff, because this page is the best and biggest Community.

Right now I would say that there should be a lot less ads. The ad that comes right after the first SK news is VERY annoying.
Also, the posting rules should appear after the comment box, and maybe you could write a sentence such as "By posting a comment you agree to the posting rules" and link "posting rules" to the beginning of the list below the comment box.
You could also add a "favorite" feature like on gotfrag, to make it easy to bookmark pages such as forum threads that could help you in the future.
I'll think of more things :)
Force players to do something for community! :) I know they are busy, but it doesn't take much time to write few lines into blog, post information about bootcamp/training, to comment match/it's result ect. It's not about insider or anything (sure, insiders should have more), but people should be informed about what players do. They are celebrities after all :)
And btw I really liked the old design, this one feels so... I don't know... digital. No sharp egdes and stuff, if you know what I mean :-)
SK site has to be as it is. For me, it's the only coverage site what I like to follow cs. It's all well-organized and convertible to read. And also, the flags should be as they are, it fits to the design of this website.
You know the first thing which is important for me when I'm visiting a site is the layout. If the layout doesn't suit me I won't even look at the content. So this is the main point for me!
The layout has to be something NEW and not that s*** as every site using such as NiP, Team3D, coL etc etc. Those layouts just gteting borring after the first visit because every site using this layout. It also doesn't have to be as a 0815 layout which means just the navi + content. There should be of course graphics but clear structured and not too stylistic.
There should be also some new features, options etc. but I think everything is already said such as your own clanpage/presentation of your own team on this site etc.

#51 its not the same styles, but each of these websites (along with mym, fnatic numerous others) are attracting the same target auidence, having the same purpose of a website. If you had a website like www.bbc.co.uk for a gaming team it won't work simple as.

A kind of wysiwyg sistem for using the html codes when redacting msg, just copying the html code it´s "hard"
A "reporting offensive content" tool, maybe for ppl with good karma, this whould make the moderation easier.
Maybe a rss sistem for every single forum, for the user to choice wich forum wants to read.
In the forum ways I just can´t say much, cause I think in the "mod" way, so I just can offer ideas for a better moderation, but I don´t know how is the moderating sistem, so...
