CS: The end of your social life?

Is it really?
And so begins my last blog. What is CS? Well many say that it's a game where all that matters is the team-play and that developes some of your skills, not only related to gaming but also social skills.
But is it really the end of your social life? And if yes why? The reason some say that is that they never got to the top probably so they didn't really see the good part og the this game. It is harder and harder to impose yourself or even get in top 10 without having serious sponsorships, dedicated players and above all, I think, your friend and family to support you.
Nowadays more and more players flee the scene without giving any thoughts to their team-mates, their fans, their past. The reason for that? It's quite simple. This game needs to much dedication, passion and most important, TIME which you don't really have. Playing for 3 hours a day and practice for another 5 doesn't really leave you much time. And so your social life goes apart with every day that goes by: you drop your friends, you stop going out, you even get into fights with your lady or familly.
After havind read all this you might think that I am one of the passionate players who had to quit. Wrong. Not even a player. The reason for this blog is just to save some of my friends.

on the otehr hand i would say.. "RL: The end of your CS carrier" :\
Cos ofcourse if u wanna make it to teh top just play like hell on like 4 days a week.. dont do anythign for 4 days and the 3 days just hang out and drink and have fun.. this isnt really teh end of ur rl tbh then is it?
im retired i have social life :D muchhhhhh
Yes i played pro for almost a year i can say (Proffesional Gamers League in Romania), but in the end we all realised it's a waste of time , money and we have more important real life things to do ! :)
P.s. Play hard go retard !
P.s.2. Hail to the beer !
- 2hours practice session [1/2/3 times a week]
- match on another day
I think this kind of structure will make a better team and better people in the team.
No need to apologize for ur bad english, the flag said enough.
and it all depends on yourself. If you have something to do or friends call to do smth, you can make the choice for yourself. But if you play a lot, then yeah it could hurt ur social life, badly for some:P
if you let it!
But I've a social life too and going out. :)
