I have like another, split opinion.
1. it's sad for ALL the french citizens, especially for the people who are affected by the riot. Isn't it sad that such a great nation, with a great democratic history has an administration which is not able to solve such social clashs?
2. French politicians aren't completely innocent for these excesses. They don't really care about these angry immigrants. instead of settling this dispute, hearing what these people have to say, instead of making proposals to solve the conflict Interior Minister of france states "we will decontaminate these dregs". diplomacy? NO WAY! such statements heat up the conflict!
you would have been banned from german administration for such a statement.
