eSports popularity - demands?

With eSports getting bigger all the time, do you think that the needs of those that want to be kept up to date are getting bigger and bigger? SK Gaming provides great coverage of all the eSports events, but still, would it be usefull for official magazines to be published?
Magazines with specific information about which pro-gamers are doing the best in which games. Personally, I never care to follow Counterstrike news, but somewhere I do feel a lack for it. The only big counterstrike name I know so far is HeaToN. In Painkiller, I know that vo0 is reigning star so far, but who is he? I'm sure there's interviews done featuring him that are available online. But I won't go search there. I would definitly subscribe on an official eSports magazine though, and read every single article in there.
Wide coverage about everything going on every month in the gaming world. It would certainly be interesting for me, but would it be for more of us or do most just have enough with the sites dedicated to covering the community?

A magazine that would give news about the gaming community would kick ass tho, great idea.
