The world's largest game festival World Cyber Games 2006 which will be this year in Italian Monza is close. Therefore all qualifiers for this great event are finishing. Team which will represent Slovakia was decided last weekend in capital city of Slovakia, in Bratislava.
The two rounds of pre-qualifier pointed seven teams which had spot in LAN finals. Last (8th) team got 'wildcard' for this finals, because of last year win - team DEFEATERS.

There was promptly first surprise in first round of double elimination when team CoreCell defeated team NecroRaisers fu.sk (2nd seed).
Team DEFEATERS went easily through whole WB and was waiting for it's enemy in grand finals. NecroRaisers fu.sk won quite easily LB and grand finals could begin. Final match was really exciting and finished with draw 15:15 at map de_inferno. In overtime team DEFEATERS confirmed nr #1 position in Slovakia and defended title of Slovak Champions.
