Orc sucks.. no wait Elf sucks.. no wait..
Dude Moon won, elf owns 5th race fantasy. Sky lost, omfg new patch sucks for human!!!Isn't it weird, one player's win or loss reflects the whole race? Lyn wins, so Orc Imba. Moon loses, so elf weak. Sky wins, so Human imba. Luci loses, so Ud sucks.
It's sad to see people change opinions of their races with every match. Orc have become creative in using the blademaster , they might have picked up tips from Dota (buffing hero beyond believable levels) while getting owned by Elf the previous patch, but you have to give them credit for atleast changing the game play.
Humans are only weaker now because their build 10k towers in your base or opponent base, as the mood decides, is not working out so well. They have a multitude of resources that they can use while Ud and Orc are very limited in their flexibility.
Primarily because of the casters.
Orc players are fighters, they have seen the worst, and they have worked out well, now that they have their game refined to almost perfect mechanics, I think people should just stop the whining. Especially both sides of the Grubby camp. It is heartening to see a player rise from almost 2 years of no big achievement to win the WCG and tie up with Sky as the only 2 players to boast of that title. If you watched the latest games, it seems that he's making smarter decisions and has a higher precision in his micro.
Or that goatie he removed has boosted his luck.
Eitherway, it's amazing to see that the Orcs have 2 very solid players who don't fickle around like a yoyo like the Undead do. Admire the player, I say, not the race.
Sk-Gaming's design is the best.
Compared to the rest of the sites, SK-Gaming's design owns.I have been going around different sites for a while and I noticed a lot of them did makeovers. Now as a web designing enthusiast, I saw that most of the websites have one thing in common. Over jazzified logos and navigation. Or an overdose of colors. Why are most sites so hell bent on taking on such unnecessary decoration when really Content is king ?The biggest disaster is Mymym. Besides that confusing URL which always make you recheck 10 times, the front page loading is an eye sore. When you load the page, the first thing that should stand out of course is your identity. This should include colors, white spacing and of course easy navigation. The thing with mymym is that their content is overclustered (i'm not debating the quality, there's a lot to read in that), I'm just upset that while improving content structure and a very good backend coded site, they totally messed up the front page. And the worst part is they think that's the best :./.Gosugamers is a site that deals only with Starcraft, Warcraft and Dota (....), however the important thing to note is the eye catching pictures centered in the page. You don't see that much often in other pages with their trillion ideas. The navigation is easy, the sections are unique and independent and the links aren't too hard to fathom what the site would show. That's a good design there.WCReplays.com, is the simplest of them all. A site where focus is very specific, navigation very easy and forums being the easiest to use. The site's content is of course not on par with others due to the sheer volume boasted by the others, but what they do stress on is the simplicity in navigation.This brings me to what I think is the best site both front end and backend. SK-Gaming. bds clearly hit jackpot with his updated design. With easy navigation, a good web 2.0 outlook and a bright reshaped logo. One cannot help but admire the design that leads the user to easily navigate around. No corny pictures for the forums, no sex selling pictures to rope in publicity and most of all Clean white space.Great job guys, keep it up.
Indian in Cologne!
I began in a rather adventerous morning. There is something that is starkingly impressive about Cologne and
Germans in general. They are extremely organised and their train-tram-bus system is par excellence in execution and detail. My crib is they molest the pronounciation and call it 'boose'. I thought they were talking about some wine station when i heard it. 'Booose station very gut'. No shitz!
The reason I am writing this in a narrative story style is because
a) I can.
b) It makes for more fun reading doesn't it?
The place i live in is Deutz Mülheimer Straße. Unknown to not only me, but most of the residents there. When i reached a station closest to it about 1 km away, i asked for directions and spent 5 kms and 2 hours reaching that station yet again. I live about 5 kms from the center of the city called Hauptbanhof Dom. There is the largest cathedral in Germany here and I am yet to see it.
Apparently everything is available hier. And there are things and trinkets you can shop forever for. They even have a Sanskrit Tatoo Parlour. Or so i heard. I dont know if Ma will allow such stuff. lol.
Everything in Germany runs by time. These ppl are painstakingly punctual in everything. Therefore an Indian
for whom 9.18 means 9.30, it comes as a shock that people actually time up to their time. Ok so that wasnt
the best usage but you get the idea. Im still in shock.
And everything here has 2 sides to it. Not literally i meant, that a train number 13 can appear in 2 directions
therefore the Richtung (direction in which it is proceeding is of supreme importance). If you are in the Tarzan mood i was in , then you would head out and take the exact opposite of what you are supposed to. And realise why a smiling jackass is not necessarily a good thing to be on the tram lines of Köln.
So after spending what seemed like eternity, i made a U turn and went in the other direction. The catcher is
that you have to know which Richtung (direction) you head in. You cant just take any direction you please, even if the new train number goes in the same direction as that of your station. At this point, you cant be sure, and remember there is a WORLD of difference between Sülzgürtel and Sölzgürtel. 17.5 Kms to be exact.
But being the Brave Indian that I am. I travelled and now am armed with 10 ways to mess up your journey. So you
come to cologne and dont buy me that cheese cake, ill make sure you end up in Austria. Ha.
Enter Crib 2.
The z and y are interchanged so i end up sazyin za to most ppl and they think of it as me wanting to act German already. Its a technical difficulty nigga, deal with it. Secondly. What in the world makes them think that toilet paper is a better solution to the problems at the bottom (god im killin myself with these puns, anyone enjoyin this as much?). I prefer the water and some how after using the paper, i either end up using far too more than necessary (by other peoples standards, not that i compared but you tend to observe these things when you enter the bathroom) or i keep feeling something is strange down there.
So far work is great, my stuff to be done is concrete and a lot of fun. People are nice. I am yet to locate a laundry service nearby. I have to see how to get those clothes washed and also dry cleaning. The damn coffee machines intricacies took me 10 minutes to figure out. Wonder how long the washing machine will..
