Speedball is one of the two distinct game variants in the sport of paintball. It is a general term for a game in which the playing field is composed of bunkers, of the same location and number on each side of the field, that provide an equal playing field for each team competing. It was created in this way to give a better format for competitive paintball, both in playing and viewing the games.
Speedball is a type of paintball characterized by a small field filled with inflatable paintball bunkers. While a woodsball field may cover several acres, speedball fields are usually less than half the size of a football field, and located on level, treeless terrain. Bunkers on a speedball field are man-made, and have evolved from wooden spools and crates to corrugated sewer piping to the customized inflatable obstacles in various shapes that are common today.
Because of the small field size, and the lack of foliage or any other objects aside from the artificial obstacles on the field, players can see from one end of the field to the other, and games are usually much shorter than those played in the woods. Since players can see each other and start the game within range of each other, action between opponents is immediate and lasts the entire game. Due to the smaller field size, there are usually fewer players per team than in woodsball, commonly from three to ten players.
While speedball is presently used in tournament play far more often than woodsball, many casual recreational players also enjoy speedball outside an organized, competitive setting, especially at indoor playing facilities where a woodsball field is not an option.
Speedball is the only format of paintball that is played professionally in the three major professional leagues, the NPPL, PSP, NXL, and Millennium series. More leagues have developed like the AXBL. Paintball fields tend to also hold tournaments of their own throughout the year [for example: Atlas Paintball in Washington, NJ holds the APL series].

V7 Teenage Tour 2006
V7 Teenage Tour is the occasion for the young talents of the national skateboard to appear.
A new edition of V7 Teenage Tour prepares. A similar concept with 5 stages of preselection: Paris, Lille, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice, of the participants in the unlimited number in competition during the 2 days of the weekend (except for the stage of Paris), of the American pros in demonstration with the TEAM V7 , 3 categories of age and a girl jam, but especially only one gaining in 2006.
And yes, only one person of vintage 2006 will see herself sponsored at the year by the company V7 Distribution . The winner of the Finale, all confused categories of age, will represent the mark Es during one year in France.
The finalists will be selected for 2 months, April and May at the time of 5 stages; the weekend of Pentecost remaining the weekend of the Great Final with Chelles/Paris, Sunday June 4. Even if if only one "teenager" is not crowned this year, all the participants receive many batches on behalf of all our partners.
The concept in some lines
A competition of skateboard (street/park) of national size.
5 stages in 2 months through all France leading to the Finale of Paris on June 4 (Cosa Nostra Skatepark in Chelles 77).
Competition free and opened to all the amateurs of less than 17 years.
Four categories: [ less than 11 years ] [ 11 years - 14 years ] [ 14 years at 17 years ] [ girls ].
Contest considered to be by 5 skateboarders professional.
Demonstrations of the French pro-skateboarders of the TEAM V7 and the American teams on all the stages except Paris.
Demonstration of the international TEAM Es at the time of the Finale in Paris.
The winner of the Finale, first to the general classification, will be sponsored at the year by the company V7 Distribution . Reward with best for each category of age.
