Mousesports win EM Dubai and take home $25,000
mousesports needed to win two maps while MYM only would have needed a single map. They played de_dust2 two times in the Grand Final and also once in the Winnerbracket Final before.
Mousesports played an impressive tournament so far and just took the Grand Final against MYM on two maps, winning the $25,000 for the first place. They got knocked out earlier by MYM on de_dust2 with 12-16 and again the map was de_dust2 in the Grand Final.
Being a Double Elimination tournament, MYM would have needed only one map to win the whole event while mousesports needed two. Starting on the Counter-Terrorist side mousesports played a great half getting 9 rounds which is extraordinary. They continued on the second half with great play by Antonio 'cyx' Daniloski throughout the whole game. Also two timeouts were called by both, mousesports and MYM in order to talk about mistakes and cool down a bit.
The second map was de_dust2 again which worked great for mousesports before as they certainly knew what MYM was playing almost all of the time. Again cyx played an important role taking many AWP shots leading his team to victory. Mousesports won the first half with 12-3 this time starting on the Terrorist side until MYM could pick up a few rounds at the end of the first half.
In the second half, MYM made the comeback but it didn't last long until Navid 'Kapio' Javadi finished MYM off with a knife frag, winning the Global Challenge Dubai.
