Les Seules - PlayUS - MYM pt.2
Getting Things Payed and FixedIm not used to being in a team where you actually get your trips payed for. Before this I used all my savings to go to different events with my former teams. I payed to go to ESWC 2005 with Cyotos, even tho I knew we wouldnt even be close to winning it, but it was really all worth it. Meeting the people you play with normally, seeing what a real competition is like. I had been to alot of smaller events in Sweden and Norway, but ESWC, oh my god, it was just what I hoped for it
to be. It made me wanna give it all, to fight even harder to become better and hopefully one day someone would recognize me for being a good player and offer me a spot somewhere.
I met Les Seules on most of the small LANs in Sweden that I went to with Fatal Attraction. They were so pretty, they looked so strong and confident and they were so good at Counter-Strike. I didnt know any of the girls in that team and the first time I spoke to them was when Nerdinnen from my own team in Fatal Attraction, joined Les Seules. She ditched us to join up with them and I actually supported her for doing it, I said, you know, if I was you getting
that opportunity I would totally take it.
AurorA gave me a really good first impression, I was like WOW, she was talking english to me and I had such a hard time answering back. I was suprised about how nice they were, like everyone said they were bitches, arrogant and that
they only talked shit about everyone. We went out that night, me and MissHyper had a tequila shot contest. Guess who won!!! ?
MissHyper won bigtime. And when I was gonna drink my last shot, I couldnt swallow it, I was seriously about to puke, I turn over to my right and spit out the tequila ON Queen*, I mean, I spit my drink out on the most famous femalegamer in the world?! Atleast for me she was the most known one, known for playing with guys and competing with guys. I remember thinking like, damn,
there goes my chances joining this team...

The Beginning of the End of the BeginningWe lost the final and ended 2nd place. Yes, I was really happy but I just felt like we would have won the whole thing if we had pushed ourselves a little bit more infront of ESWC instead of having a 2 weeks break before going. The reason why we had the break was because we were gonna start the filming of PlayUS straight after ESWC 2006, so people could go home and see their families before going on the big worldtrip. I remember being so angry when some of the girls said before the final that they were happy with 2nd place, I dont get how someone can say that, I mean dont you just wanna win? 1st placers will be remembered, 2nd placers will not and just standing there feeling that you are the very best of everyone must be sooo awesome. I wanna win!
But no. It did not go as planned, I dont think anyone of us were nervous about the game, hard to say what went wrong, it was dark and there was so many people watching. It was crazy, they were screaming our nicknames and cheering, but still 90% was cheering for the opponents. Cause yeah, we were in France, playing a french team in the final. It all went really quick, BTB won 16-5, Good Game.
Anyway, we were really happy, we got a big check and medals and we were smiling the rest of the day. I felt really proud to atleast have achieved something. It was the best placement for Les Seules so far.
Its funny how popular Les Seules is, how known they are, I had never experienced anything like this. I remember looking up to those girls in my team, dreaming about being part of the team one day, and now I was. We had to do hundreds of interviews, people was taking pics all the time. My english really sucked back then, I actually didnt speak much english before I joined Les Seules, I had a hard time with it in the beginning and I think it has been like that for almost everyone who has been in the team. I was really scared of the cameras, never knew what to say in the interviews and leaned alot on mommy AurorA.
Really got to feel what it was like being 'Les Seules', me and Nat0 was new in the lineup after Queen* and zelena left the team in the end of 2005, but it was like noone cared who we were as players, as long as we were part of Les Seules we got just as much attention as any of the other girls even tho we werent as known as the others.
